Jun 10, 2018 - It is always on when the bike is not running as it also triggered by low oil pressure. No run = no oil pressure. Normal. If the red light is on AND you have a flashing "FI" in the temp window then you have a code. FI (F1?) red light on dash

Inside the cylinders there is a fire when the engine is running and the exhaust gasses coming out heat up the metal. If this is a homemade dirt bike make the exhaust pipe routed away from you as much as possible and add a guard around the outside of the pipe.

the red key has to do with security.. if you have a remote control for your security alarm you may need to change the batteries

Sounds like you have a Lifan 50cc motor to begin with. The loose and disconnected wires are more of a concern to me and without enough information to properly answer the question my suggestion would first to isolate those loose connections by applying electrical tape so that those wires that are exposed so that they do not ground out and short out the CDI, it is very possible that you may have damaged your CDI which is the Computer that controls the motor, spark and other electrical components on the motorcycle itself. Fortunately the CDI’s for Lifan engines can be easily and cheaply sourced on eBay or Amazon but be sure to choose wisely— there are many out there so pay attention to part numbers which may be stamped on the CDI. As For finding an electrical schematic that is going to be a far more difficult task and quite frankly may not be necessary in your case I would start with first taking care of those loose wires followed by checking and or replacing your CDI and see what that will get you. Be sure your battery is properly load tested and charged and GROUNDED properly

Check fuel mix for being too lean. It will run hotter. If you are caning it around, they will glow.

When the service reminder light lights up or
blinks, this will indicate that the cut-out
carbon brushes will switch off the tool in
approximately 8 hours. After that period, the
light will go off and the tool will stop running.
The tool must then be sent to a service
center for service

Exhaust pipes too hot? Engine running too lean. Adjust carb to make richer...more fuel, less air

Hi, Corrie, I answer motorcycle questions on Fixya which is a free Q&A site about nonmedical everyday things and I find extremely disturbing that you would choose this website for a medical emergency about your 17-month old son instead of calling 911, your doctor, or the hospital. I do not know what country you live in and maybe you are not close to medical services. If his breathing is O.K. then just stay by his side and monitor his progress. If he gets worse then seek immediate medical attention. Good luck and may the Holy Spirit watch over you and your son.

A weak mixture normally. Which also damages spark plugs, valves on a four stroke and piston crowns. Tailpipes and mufflers do get hot though.

You probably cant, most modern carbs are factory set for optimal performance v fuel economy, the only adjustment you may be able to make is the idle speed setting

Red Motorcycles | Answered on Jun 20, 2018

red hot exhausts indicate
ignition timing late
valve timing incorrect
red hot occurs when the exhaust valve opens and allows burning compression gasses into the exhaust system (500-600C) instead of the cooler burnt mixture
If you have an EGR system then that system is faulty and not bypassing exhaust into the inlet to cool the combustion temperature

Have you checked the owners manual to see what can cause the bike to stop. It sound very much like the cut out switch to the side stand or clutch is faulty and is causing the engine to stop.

Red Motorcycles | Answered on Jan 03, 2018

Check oil level, and look for leaks under the car you might have a bad engine main seal that contaminated the clutch.
