How to remove burnt on stuff from your chrome Harley Davidson Pipes.

I made the mistake of riding my Harley Davidson to the gym in my loose fitting track pants. Long story short I ended up melting my pants to my pipe. Goodbye Nike Dry-fit pants! Anyways I tried every possible cleaner and nothing worked. What did work was a good old fashion all American Nickel. Chrome is harder than the nickel so no need to worry about scratching the pipes. Takes a little time but you'll get it. Good Luck!

The exhaust pipe at the cylinder head on my 2009 DYNA glide glows bright red, is this a problem with exhaust not leaving the pipe fast enough? Also, I think I have an exhaust leak on the same pipe.

I have an XLCH1000 that had the same problem. I fitted finned exhaust clamps at the cylinder end and that cooled it down.
Ride safe and loud pipes save lives.
