Tip & How-To about Motorcycles
An internal combustion engine requires (3) three things to run...(assuming all other internals are in proper working order)
1. Proper fuel/air ratio (This is the FIRST requirement)
2. Adequate compression (This is the SECOND requirement)
3. Properly timed spark (This is the THIRD requirement)
>> Fuel must be/is introduced into the engine, then it must be compressed so it can explode when the properly timed spark ignites the mixture.
>> When your engine will not run?? -- Start by eliminating, one at a time, of each of the three requirements. When you find one(or more) that is not present, you have found the issue.
This is how a Professional starts diagnosing a "not-starting engine".
