What size tamperproof hex key to remove rear shock absorbers on yamaha xjr 1300

Good question! I have not had to remove my ohlins as yet and do not know what size the torx key would be. I think it is a torx tamperproof! Imtiaz

Carb air fuel screw

What I did , I turned mine in all the way and then backed them out until it started running smooth ! Try that and see if it fixes it !

Clutch has started to drag after bike has not been

Clutch not fully disengaging. May, (most likely), need a fluid change in the clutch master cylinder, (on the handlebar). The wrong engine oil could cause clutch issues also. Does it drag only when hot or all the time?

IT IS MISSING A BEAT SO I WANT TO CHANGE THE

if you have those fancy cable type screw driver with interchangeable head, no need. But if you dont, you have to remove the tank.

Starter turning slow on the first start

check battery voltage....a good battery will read between 12.6v and 13v. how old is battery? if more than three years old and you're a seasonal rider the battery is probably suspect! Also if you live in a very cold climate and use a thicker oil.... it might also cause this.

Exhaust

The most likely cause is that the motor is running very lean. Make sure that all of the componets for the air intake system are connected and not leaking. This can happen if you have changed to one of the new high flow air cleaners like K&N. This causes the air/fuel mixture to have too much air and not enough fuel (lean). If you can adjust the carb, then make it richer.
