I suddenly have no electrics
I had the same problem on an XS 650 Yam. (at 70 mph) .All that was wanted was a pair of new bushes.As these were worn there was no charge going into the battery. Hope yours is the same.

turn the nut counter clockwise so that it backs out a bit this tightens the cable to clutch
Just found oil leak on
That is the kick stand switch. A bit important really as if it is no good, when you let the clutch out in gear the engine will switch off!
The brake light comes on..
Either the wire connection under the seat has unplugged or broken or , if you look into the bulb socket , one of the bulb contact points has sunk into the contact plate and is now longer touching the bulb. This is more common than you would think. I have fixed many sockets by replacing the contact plate. If you tilt the plate the spring behind it will push it out. You can take the contact plate out of almost any other socket or sometimes by new ones . Feed the new contact wires through the spring and socket and solder the old wire connectors on. That is how you repair an expensive light socket cheaply.
Motorcycle was dropped. Few scratches
It's signalling a fault at the first cylinder. To reset it all you have to do is to shut the engine off, remove the battery for 5 minutes and the code will be gone. But if you don't fix it it will immediately reappear the moment you start the engine.
