2022 Wr450f No indicators at all or indicator light on dash either.

Question edited for lot more clarity. Question moved from Cars and Trucks. Yes LED Bulbs are problematic because the control boards in them call back EMF to the electronic control modules. Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours to reset everything. If that doesn't work it is still under warranty..

Yamaha yz 125 kickstart wont move

If the kickstart won't move and the bike won't go into gear, it's likely that there's an issue with the transmission or engine. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
  1. Seized engine: If the engine seized while you were riding, it could be preventing the kickstart from moving. This could be caused by a lack of oil, overheating, or other issues. If the engine is seized, you will likely need to replace it or have it rebuilt.
  2. Transmission issue: It's possible that there's an issue with the transmission that's preventing the bike from going into gear and the kickstart from moving. This could be caused by a variety of issues, such as a broken shift fork or worn gears. You may need to have the transmission inspected and repaired.
  3. Top-end issue: If the bike lost a lot of power before cutting out, it's possible that there's an issue with the top end of the engine. This could be caused by worn piston rings, a damaged piston, or other issues. You may need to replace the top end of the engine to resolve this issue.
It's difficult to say for sure what the issue is without a more thorough inspection of the bike. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic who can diagnose the issue and provide a repair estimate.

2010 yamaha vino 50cc. Coolant light stays on even when cold. Does not seem to be overheating. What is the cause?

This could be an error in the coolant temperature sensor's reading or it might be a sign of a more serious issue with the cooling system, like a coolant leak or a clogged radiator. You might need to bring the scooter to a repair shop to be examined.

How to set the YAMAHA Fz400r MOTORCYLE timing mark

The Fz400r is a motorcycle engine produced by Yamaha. To set the timing mark on the Fz400r, follow these steps:
  1. Remove the side cover from the engine to expose the timing mark.
  2. Locate the timing mark on the rotor, which is a small line or notch on the outer edge of the rotor.
  3. Use a timing light to align the timing mark on the rotor with the "T" mark on the stator.
  4. Loosen the bolts that secure the stator plate in place.
  5. Adjust the position of the stator plate until the timing mark on the rotor is aligned with the "T" mark on the stator.
  6. Tighten the bolts that secure the stator plate in place.
  7. Reattach the side cover to the engine.
It's important to consult the Fz400r's service manual for detailed instructions on setting the timing mark and to ensure proper timing of the engine.

I have a 2007 Yamaha C3 with fault code 42 and can't figure out the fix?

Yes it is a speed sensor issue, but that is normally nothing to do with the speedometer if it has a cable. The speed sensor is part of the electronic engine management system which is why the Scooter lost power. Here is your Service Manual. Use CTRL+F and type 'speed sensor', and press Enter. 15 mentions of it. https://www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/Yamaha_C3_Service_Manual.pdf Location (not a detailed as I would have hoped) https://www.google.com/search?q=2007+yamaha+c3+speed+sensor+location This suggests the battery may not be fully charged https://www.justanswer.com/motorcycle/5om11-2007-yamaha-c3-scooter-getting-error-code.html ..

My 2008 Yamaha V star mill turnover when I tried to start it but will not fire up. Why and I don't think I'm getting spark to my coil packs.

A motorcycle that turns over but doesn't start can be caused by a few different things. Some possible causes of the issue you are experiencing with your 2008 Yamaha V Star include:
  1. Fuel supply problem: If the fuel pump is not working properly or the fuel filter is clogged, it can prevent fuel from reaching the engine.
  2. Ignition system problem: If there is no spark at the coil packs, it could be due to a malfunctioning ignition module, a bad spark plug, or a problem with the ignition coil.
  3. Mechanical issue: If the engine is not getting compression, it could be due to a valve problem, a broken timing chain, or a seized piston.
  4. Electrical issue: If the engine is not getting power, it could be due to a dead battery, a corroded connection, or a problem with the starter.
It's best to check the battery and all the electrical connections first, also check if the spark plugs are fouled or damaged, if so change them

Have a 2010 yamaha royal star venture. Recently started having problems with setting cruise control. Everything electrical is working fine. Cruise just wont set anymore.

It is likely that there is an issue with the cruise control system on your Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Without more information about the specific symptoms and troubleshooting steps that you have already taken, it is difficult to provide a specific diagnosis. Some possible causes of cruise control not working on a motorcycle could include a malfunctioning cruise control module, a problem with the throttle position sensor, or a failure in the wiring or connections related to the cruise control system.

1971 Yamaha DT250. Why don't I have power to the points?

You need a wiring diagram or service manual to check the way the circuit runs and whether it earths via the points or earths via the coil. The way the spark works is that the coil is energized all the time the ignition is on and the spark is created when the the points *break* the contacts. You will only have power at the points with the ignition on and only on one side with the points open. Various resources in the link, but none that I am willing to register for. https://www.google.com/search?q=1971+yamaha+dt250+ignition+wiring+diagram ..
