Look for phillips screws around the front of the headlight bezel.Remove these and pull the headlight straight forward. Behind the light you now hold in your hand will be a 3 prong electrical connection that you either pull straight back or twist 1/4 turn. You will be replacing the whole headlight like a car or you will have a halogen bulb that twists out of headlight, buy a new one and reverse procedure for reinstall....good luck to you my friend....Tim

if you want to get past going to dealer you need to get manual. if will tell you had to check the codes and how to clear it. this where you can A:buy the book or B: download it. use a good pay site to download its worth the 5-10 bucks.

The engine light came on because the system lost power, this resets the parameter's of the fuel control mapping of the computer control module, if you ride it a few days under varying conditions the light should go out by itself. As for right now the system sees a fault so there is no way to "clear" it other than what I just mentioned above. If the light doesn't go out after a few days you will need the dealer to hook up the diagnostic scanner and see what is causing the fault light to remain lighted.

your bulb is probably burned out. Remove the four screws that hold your headlight assembly together and take a look.

indicates that it is a faulty hydraulic lifter and not a chain chains rattle

It seems to me there was a recall on a fuel line fitting on the Victory line. I would google that information. If you can find the recall...there are still some victory/polaris/indian dealerships who can check to see if the recall was ever performed on your bike. If not...they should do it. Semper Fi, Z

possible crack in the inlet manifold having a crack in the manifold will make the engine hunt quick easy get you home fix is while you waiting for a new one after ordering the part is remove your carburetor remove the cracked manifold buy a condom and cover the whole manifold with the condom the open end of the condom being closer to the engine replace the engine manifold until tightened with a sharp knife cut a hole in the other end of the condom replace the carburetor that will make the cracked inlet manifold air tight
