My clutch in my rm 250 wont disengage i know the

If you put synthetic oil or an oil with "Special" additives in the gearbox the cork on the fiber friction plates may be swollen. The swelling can cause the clutch to stay engaged, Only use standard 10w40 motor oil in the gearbox. You will need new fiber friction plates if that is what has happened. Normally the only other three things that would cause the problem are a worn shift arm, a bent push rod and a badly worn cable.

NEED TO KNOW FLOAT LEVEL HIGHT. REPLACED FLOAT AND

the common rule is to have it adjusted within 2mm of where the gasket meets the carb and bowl. get a clear hose about 6 in long and connect to where the fuel is flowing out of while bike is off. bend it to where the side of the hose runs up and down next to your carb. it will show where your level is. then keep adjusting till its around the gasket. also check to make sure the rubber valve isn't missing or damaged in your float.

I have white oil dripping out of my 2001 rm250..

hi,you arent going to like this ,but it is water from the cooling system getting into your transmission,rm bikes are famous for it,you will probably find that there is a seal on the back of the water pump (which is driven off the crank)has failed letting the water in to the gearbox, drain the gearbox, flush it before running it again, but get the faulty seal fixed first...hope this helps...cheers

2001 suzuki rm 250-Clutch feels like it is

I have the same bike doing the same thing, I think this problem is caused by running regular or synthetic motor oils intended for cars rather than using motorcycle specific 10- 40wt. Motorcycle specific oils have friction properties that support long life of the friction plates in your clutch, regular motor oils can cause your friction plates to heat up and glaze over. I think That's what gives you that grabby all or nothing feel when taking off from a stop.

I have a 2003 rm 250 2 stroke that died on me and now locked up.

sounds to me like shes nipped up in the bore possibly to a broken ring or lack of oil or coolant unfortunately the damage is done you will have to remove the cylinder head & barrell to determine how much check the oil pump for blockage & function was there adequate oil in the tank alsowas the coolant resevior full at the least it will need a set of rings & the cylinder honed at worst big end bearings if the bottom ends locked up this involves splitting the cases so for your sake I hope my initial diagnoses is corrrect

Got a rm250 1999 its keeps jumping out of secon

Unfortunately, this most likely means that you've got worn or damaged parts inside the transmission - which also means that the engine has to be removed and disassembled.
With the transmission parts removed, check for rounded edges on the gear "dogs". Having straight edges on the dogs is what keeps the gears from sliding apart and the transmission from jumping out of gear when power is applied.
Also check the shift forks for wear and straightness. When your transmission jumps out of gear, excess force is applied to the shift forks, causing wear and sometimes bending.

Drain the fuel and refill it with the correct ratio fuel, it may take a few kicks, but it should start. Cleaning the plugs would not go astray either.
