I can't get my Suzuki to start, any ideas?

Make sure both battery terminals are connected tightly. If they are, and you know what you're doing, you can bypass the solenoid by disconnecting the heavy cables and touching them together to see if the starter turns. If it turns, the solenoid may need replacing. If it doesn't turn, then the starter needs looking at.

Motor cycle starts once it is warmed up stalls out

Have the carburetors serviced. Sounds like a fuel pump problem(if your bike has one). If not it is because the idle mix is too lean.

Turn key just winds no start

It's usually one of two most common reasons. A fuel delivery restriction or no spark to the plugs. Check for spark by seeing if you can get spark to jump from a wire to the plug (hold it very close but not touching while cranking). If there is good spark then chek fuel flow (after the fuel pump) also check for any cloged fuel filters.

A problem starting up

Check the fuses. Next, check for spark. If no spark then check again but with a new plug. Is the kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Tip-over kill switch on your bike? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter.

Check the loom. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? If no neutral light, check the neutral switch and neutral switch wire on center casing. With a little luck this will get you back on the road.

My headlight burn , i change the burn socked and

Hi and welcome to the site,

Depending on the version, there is a hidden headlight switch inside the start button switch that switches off when starting. In some instances, the contacts may have corrosion or have burned when the headlight socket had a problem. Other than the dimmer switch this is another possibility to consider.

Good luck and thank you for asking.
