I own a 2006 zx10r iwant to use a 2008 side mount

You can buy a m4 go style exhaust for the 06-07 on ebay for a pretty good price. Lots of exhaust manufacturers make this type of exhaust. As for the 2008, the mid pipe won't work and you would have to make your own or have one custom built. Also the 08 header is different.

Loss of power on startup,

Check the condition of your battery. Give it a proper overnight charge (not just on an optimate) and if no joy get a new battery.

Good luck

On my zx10 2006 f1

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the bike from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what the problem is. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

sorry buddy but having a power loss or communication loss during a firmware update generally hoses the item being updated. You will have to use the stock computer while you get the power commander RMA'd.

Use an impact driver to loosen the nut. Sears has them for $26 or so. Be sure the locking tab on the castle nut is bent back away from the nut. Standard threads are used.

How to change the vavle cover gasket on a 2006

Remove the petrol tank and air box to get access, then remove the cover bolts ,allways try to put the bolts back in the same holes .the valve cover may require a small tap around the edge with a rubber mallet to break the seal. Remove the old seal ,it may need scraping ,use a piece of copper or hard wood with edge, clean the mating surfaces to a shine then gently scrub the mating surfaces with wet and dry p240 ,dont get grit in the engine so go slowly and clean often ,lightly grease the gasket and put in place ,put the cover back on,put bolts back in finger tight, then bit by bit tighten in a figure of eight pattern untill allmost tight. Then finally use a torque wrench set at proper torque setting, call your local kwak dealer .and finally tighten in same figure of eight pattern,

How to mount 06 zx10r framesliders

they should have included instructions. i am not familiar with that model but most frame sliders have brackets that bolt to the engine/frame mount on each side. then the slider mounts to the newly installed bracket. you Will have to modify (cut) holes in the body for the sliders to protrude. they would not serve any purpose bolted to just the body in the event of a crash.
Use a torque wrench for this as those bolts also will be holding your engine. you may get lucky and the not have to modify the body if they designed the slider to protrude through existing body holes.
