Hard to start when cold

G'day mate sounds to me like the starter is drawing to much power to leave enuogh for the ignition system go for battery , have it checked at the battery /service place , they have a small machine that simulates starting and tell how much Amperage /Voltage is being drawn, if its below 9.5 volts after 3 to 5 seconds it will need replacing , also if the battery is in good condition ,battery leads , earth return and finally starter should be checked probably in that order to be wise, hope this helps

What is the length of a drive shaft of a vn 1500

Are you not using OEM for Vulcan driveshaft? It is best to stick to OEM as many factors have accounted for in factory, ie, weight, spline, etc. Good?

Have a 2008 kawasaki 1500 with excessive noises

YOUR MECHANIC IS SOMEWHAT RIGHT TO AN EXTENT. KAWA 1500'S ARE CHARACTERISTICALLY NOISY IN THE VALVETRAIN! BEEN AROUND THEM SINCE THEY WERE BORN. NOW IF YOURS IS PARTICULARLY NOISY, HAVE THE MECHANIC CHECK THE VALVETRAIN AND CAM CHAIN TENSIONERS FOR PROPER ADJUSTMENTS. THIS IS CRITICAL FOR THE LIFE OF THE ENGINE!

2005 Vulcan 1600 Classic; having problems with the

When you go to lock it or unlock the steering give the bars a little wiggle while turning the key. Somtime the rod that goes into the hole gets gummed up. As for the front end wobble I would take a look at the wheel to see if it has gotten bent or if you have lost a wheel weight. Also check the wheel bearings buy getting the front wheel off the ground and hold the front end from moving and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and see if there is any side to side rocking movment. If there is stop riding the bike and get them replaced.

Has plenty of oil but noisy and oil lite staying

The top heavy is the nature of the beast. The oil lite issue is slow oil pressure build up. The plenty of oil? now here we talk about the noise Oil lite, bottom end noise could be the result of poor oil. Drain the oil and vhange the filter. My suspicion is that the oil, is either wrong weight or diluted with fuel,
Do not run anymore or you can lose a rod bearing. Use only oil from a motorcycle parts supplier. There is a difference between regular engine oil and motorcycle oil. Motor oil and wet clutches don't get along very well. Good Luck, Ned.

Break light does not work and the two small head lights as well.

the break light not working could be due to the pedal sensor not connected or faulty .check also the wiring loom under the seat as it could be disconnected .
in regards to the small headlights , check all fuses as you could have blown fuses as well .
contacts could also oxidise and not making contacts

1995 vulcan 1500, fuel pours out the vent in front of the battery

need to start by checking the float height in the carburetor also check the needle and seat just above the float for debris or damaged seals as this will cause the carb to overfill with fuel and pore out the vent. I would suggest a clymers service manual for specifications on the carb. goodluck.

1500 Kawasaki Vulcan 93'

you might have a charging system problem without the bike charging system it is only running on the battery power, and once the battery is too low to fire the ignition it will die, check your fuses and power cables to the battery, selenoid and starter, then check the regulator/rectifier, could also be your stator or rotor, only a few possabilities but you will find it.
