Speedometer bounces
as the cable gets warmer it my be sticking in the sheath, i would recomend replacing the speedo cable, this should cure your problem.
Triple tree
Hi depends how hard you went down you can try loosening the upper and lower brackets and twist your front end into the straight position and recheck it eyeball it, if you cant get it to look straight and the forks look bent take to a mechanic and have him check it.
Some shops can straighten forks but triple clamps also can be straightened but you will have to look for a motorcycle frame shop for that service.
other than that replacement is the other option

No power to headlight or driving lights
does high beam work? if it does then you are getting power and the low beam filament is burnt out. if the high beam doesnt work either, then check for voltage in the light socket in high beam mode, if no voltage then you must check the wiring harness for broken, bent, corroded, or pushed back pins.

if you are able to select gears without the motor stalling I doubt that your clutch is burned I would suspect that you may have sheared the output shaft in the gearbox this is a major job & without the correct tools & knowledge should be entrusted to a qualified technician
Fan not working
I HAD AN 03 VTXR...I DON'T REMEMBER EVER HEARING THE FAN RUN..AS YOU KNOW THIS ENGINE IS AIR AND WATER COOLED... VERY LITTLE WATER..IF I WAS REALLY WORRIED ABOUT THIS I WOULD TAKE IT TO YOUR LBS AND HAVE IT CHECKED..
I have a 2005 Honda VTX 1300 that will not start.
Firstly, have you checked for spark?? Is there fuel to the carb?? Is the vacuum line to the fuel valve OK?? If the motor turns, then your kill switch is OK. Check the "basics" first then let us know what your results are and we can move forward

I seriously doubt the brand of oil you use is going to affect the starter. If you are hearing the starter spin but only get sporadic engagement, the starter's bendix may be worn and needs to be replaced.
