I have front end wobble on my motorcyle. The wheel

Hello geoff100lee.... many of the "C's" have a small wobble in the steering at certain speeds...most notable while decelerating... Two considerations that control a front end shimmy are the tightness of the steering head bearing and steering dampers.
Since most bikes don't have steering dampers it's EXTREMELY important that the head bearing is properly adjusted. Your dealer is most likely aware of this problem on the "C", even if he won't admit to it.
There is a fix for it using tapered needle bearings. The bearings are about 40 buxs, but requires pressing and a few special tools to install. If you search VTXcafe.com or VTXOA.com forums you can find instructions.
Good luck...i hope this helps. please rate me a fixya.

Honda shadow aero 2005 VT750C shifting problem

You have a bent shift fork. This is not a repair job for the amateur. The engine comes out of the frame, turns upside down then the bottom of the gear case gets separated from the top. The entire shift drum, forks and all, gets removed and the bent fork gets replaced. The engine re-assembles in the reverse pattern.

Now what about stressed gears? Any cracked or broken slider gear dogs?

You are going to have at least 75 parts on the work bench. Was the collar on the slider gear on the left side or the right? I am trying to show you why you had best be careful. The shop charges more to fix a box of loose parts than if they fix a gearbox.

Pleas rate this solution. Thanks!

Wobble

you need to put the bike up on its center stand and check the triple tree bearings for wear and tear. i.e. grab the front wheel while facing the bike and gently give a tug to see if it moves. you wanna pull hard enough to move it but not hard enough to pull the bike off the stan.

Vtx 1300 won't start

Hi I have had the same problem with my 2007 VTX1300S, the problem was caused by the fuel tap diaphram this comes in two parts on this model the vacumn side and the actual fuel cut off side. the two sides become seperated and cut off the fuel supply. the smaller inner part should fit into the outer main part.

I need to remove front wheel

This last summer I helped a guy change a tire on a Honda.. It was a rear tire and wheel that we couldn't get to come loose after we took the lug nuts off.. What I ended up doing was turning my back to the wheel and tire and, with the heel of my foot, stomped against the side-wall of the tire.. The wheel popped loose.. Good luck...

Bought a 2005 honda vtx 1300 noticed oil leaking from the head at the bottom of the fake fins it only has 2675 mile on it.

You need a gasket. Don't we be the bearer of bad news, but I think you have to drop the engine, one that bike to get to that gasket about 750 dollars you could try to stop leak. Just make sure it's good quality

I have a 2010 Honda VTX 1300ct. It has just over

Take it back to the shop, if it needs this doing yet it was not set up correctly when it was manufactured. If this is required it would be part of the first service, if you do it and something goes wrong you will invalidate your warranty. Be very careful of Honda UK, and anything that could invalidate you warranty. (Note Portsmouth Honda).

The most common fan problem Honda has with over heating is with the two wire fan switch on the radiator not working correctly. I think you have nailed it.

My 2005 VTX 1300c will not stay running unless my

That is usually the first sign that the low speed idle jets are plugged. If the bike has sat through the winter then I would suspect that the carbs need cleaning and the jets need unplugging. You can try to run some fuel system cleaner thru the gas tank. Sea Foam or Tectron is what I use and SOME TIMES it can clean out the problem. To help after you have the carbs cleaned if you are going to store or not ride the bike more than a couple weeks put in some fuel stabilizer.

My honda vtx 1300 was

Sounds like a fuse let go!
Get an ohm meter and check your fuses. They should read 0 ohms (or whatever the meter reads when the leads are touched together)
Remember to pull the fuses first before testing them.
I'd check all the fuses while you're there.

If that doesn't show anything wrong, then check the ignition switch itself. Turn it on and off and wiggle it a bit. If the headlight flickers, there's something wrong in the switch, and you'll probably need to pull and clean or possibly replace it.

How many spark plugs are there to change on my

The stock two cylinder 583ccm engine on your VTX uses two spark plugs per cylinder for a total of FOUR. NGK #DPR6E is the stock plug. They should run about $11 a set.

best wishes!
