Hi,
The oil filter is in the bottom of transmission case, just behind the plug.

You may see a little improvement in top end, but low and mid range will be smoother power.

yes you can

Sounds like you have an air lock in the radiator.
The air lock stops the water from circulating and produces over heating.
Get the radiator checked by a Motorcycle Technician.

It's a 12 volt system for sure.
When charging make sure to allow for proper ventilation of battery cells.

The seat is held in place by one allen bolt which can be found by removing the pillion seat and looking in.

i think i had the same problem there, it does`nt charge the battary unless ur doing over 5 revs

Just remove seat and any fairings restricting access and change out.It will not efect the fuel injection in any way.Hope this helps.

Put the clutch back where it belongs ...

quanity oil: 1000mls

You can try using a adjustable vise-grip set to very tight or the hard way is to use a nut-breaker to chisel the nut counter-clock wise the use a vise-grip to loosen the nut

I think you might be finding out this weekend how much damage you did. If it still runs I don't think you did any damage to it, just got terrible performance. And maybe a little hammering of the valve stems....I was supposed to do my valves years ago, or about 12,000 miles ago, haven't done it yet. Still runs good, when it starts missing and skipping, I'll do it, but till then........ Hope this helps.

When in the upper gears, reduced power output from the engine becomes more noticeable in 5th and 6th gear due to the more direct drive created by the higher ratios. First thing I would do is put some additive in the fuel to clean the fuel system and decarbon the head and combustion chambers. I use a Nulon product, not sure what you can get in your part of the world. Techron is another good well known product that works. In fact, if you bike is affected by buildups any brand name cleaner additive will help with the problem.
Also check that the drive chain is well lubed, a dry chain can rob up to 2 kw of power. Check wheel hubs for excessive heat/bearing problems. Happy to talk to you more about it. Cheers

charge up battery first of all then check that its getting fule to the carb, is sounds like there is a blockage in a fule line or the float is sticking up shutting off the flow of fule to the engine

this new exhaust has thrown the engine way out of tune, and the carbs need to be re-set up as the bike is now running very week,,,,you will burn a hole in a piston very soon if you dont re-tune it,,,this could also be causing some if not all of the vibration your getting, but check the sprokets are running true life the rear of the bike clear of the ground and spin the rear wheel if you feel or here a grinding sound its the sprokets not meshing with the chain also did you have the new tyer balanced when it was fitted???
this also causes vibration

change the gearbox oil.

sounds like the stator is bad... kind of like alternator in a car... did you check your fuses?

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gearbox. NEVER use synthetic lubricants as they can mess up the clutch plates. There is an oil dipstick that is used to check the oil level. It has a gauge at the bottom end. Keep the oil level within the range of the gauge. If I recall correctly, it takes 1.2 quarts of oil. Go by the gauge and you can't go wrong. If the dipstick has been replaced with a plug, you can get a new dipstick at www.babbittsonline.com/parts/viewbybrand/parts.aspx $7.26. Other parts are available as well. Please rate my answer.
