check and test for blown head gasket

Shut off valve at the bottom of tank. remove fuel line from carburetor and point it into an approved fuel container. Open fuel valve and drain tank. If you have a reserve setting on your valve, turn it to that to get all the fuel out. Then, look the the bowl of your carburetor. At the bottom there is a small drain line. Above that drain line is a slotted screw. Point that drain line into a container and turn the screw left to drain the fuel out of the carburetor bowl. Retighten the screw after it drains. Place your fuel tank valve to off.

timing is preset change spark plug

Hi, You don't need to get much. Just change the spark plug and oil the chain if so equipped.
Change the oil too and have a nice trip. Good luck.

Dear I am not expert However I suggest you to clean the secondary oil ( which is like a yellow colour sponge in the rectuangular shape) filter and change the main filter ( which is in the round shape) both cost around Rs 350/-

start with a new spark plug and clean air filter, then if no better, remove exhaust and look into engine through exhaust port, if there is black carbon build up in the exhaust port remove it with a scraper, don't touch piston, don't let people tell you to cut open the exhaust muffler

it sounds more like a carb setting problem than electricalshould be simple to fix

sounds like coil. when they go bad that is what happens. will start but not when it is hot.

Find the leak. But, an engine will use oil even a new one. If it only uses 100ml per 5000 miles don't worry.

If you have the key, you must have notice the square cog right behind the key on the plastic part. Put that into the hexagon in the key panel and twist in the direction marked to open and bingo.... Its open!! (NB. The plastic cog behind the key contains a miniature magnet behind inside the casing that pulls the small unlock lever behind the key panel).

can you tell me how to put oil for the engine myself?

The piston must be at Top Dead Centre to adjust the valve tappet clearances. This will only stop it from ticking. Have you checked the type of and amount of oil in the engine?

When i accelarates the activa when it is totally stopped in trafic or any other places..it vibrates with large voices which disturbs me alot..i had given to services many times but in one week problem again arises..what can i do for that..plz reply

White smoke is classic head gasket problems in water cooled engines ... Your engine is air cooled but you can still have top end troubles. may need a new battery it may not be strong enough at idle

change the caburator to enable it wokk fine.
