They are not expensive to buy and it could be that someone tightened it too tight. When that happens the seat wont move and the threads on the body can strip. Time for a new one. Never tighten the needle valve all the way down with a tool unless you are very careful.

TO REPLACE THE FRONT FORK OIL ....DO YOU DRAIN IT

You can get it out by removing the bolt(valve) in the bottom of the fork. However, this will not get it all out, so you won't know exactly how much you're putting in. Too little and it'll bottom out real easy. Too much and it'll be very stiff.

Of course, the best way is to totally disassemble and inspect the forks and set the oil amount by measuring the oil level in the fork. But, if you simply want to drain it out and replace it, catch all you drain out and put exactly that amount of new oil back in. This should get you very close, unless your forks have been leaking, then your level will be a little low.

My crf 100 wont start

Be sure that the handlebar and side stand kill switches are off. Have a friend kick the bike over ( in neutral ) while you ground the bottom of the plug against the cylinder. Without being grounded, the plug can't spark. Don't twist the throttle more than once when starting. You can easily flood the engine.

My 2000 honda 50cc starts and runs only with ckoke

Hi there,

had the same problem before. What you need to do is to cancel out those basics that prevents the engine from running.

1. Check the spark plug, poor spark causes poor engine performance.
2. Poor fuel. Make sure no water is in the carburetor.
3. Idling problem or fuel-air mixture.

Quick Fixes:

1. Rev the engine with the choke ON. rev for at least 30 seconds to drive moisture out.
2. Drain the carburetor for any water deposits. This makes a bad mixture in the combustion.
3. Clean your spark plug.
4. Tune your Fuel-Air mixture to 2.5 turns out... Turn it clockwise until it stops and make 2.5 turns out. That's the standard.
5. Set your idle later if the engine's hot enough for idle run.

Your problem mostly is caused by poor fuel dispersion. Since pulling the choke entails less air and more fuel, it could be that that your engine requires more of it. If you have the time to remove the carburetor for disassembly, i recommended doing so. Remove the carb and clean the jets, make sure you put everything back in order.

That's it.. Let me know if there's any more problems... this is my usual approach.

I hope it helps,

Can the kickstart be jammed on a crf 100 and is it

normaly kickstarts dont jam, they normaly slip when worn, it is more likely although cant be certin without actualy looking at it, the engine has seized, remove the engine cover the 1 that covers the flywheel, "you will see wire harnes coming from this case" in the centre of the flywheel you will see abolt, place a spanner or socket on the bolt and gently turn over the engine, if you have to use force then the engine has seized, and the answer to you question would be no its not an easy fix, well not a cheap fix anyway.

When staring from cold it is neccesary to use full

Has this 6 year old machine ever had a top-end job done? If not, then you may want to consider it. You can just replace the rings but I'd at least pull the cylinder apart and check for blow-by or a stuck ring. if your rings don't rotate freely in their channels, then it's time to replace them. If your cylinder has a glassy look to the inside walls, then it needs a hone job at a minimum. Kustom-kraft.com is an excellent choice for top-end service.. Bikebandit.com is THE place for parts.

So how can i fix my problem with the gas leak and

The carburetor needs to be taken off then the float bowl at the bottom of the carb. Trash and water and varnish have plugged up the jets in the carb and is causing the float to stick open. Get a can of spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store then spray into every hole in the carb. Remove the choke and the throttle and air screws and spray into those holes as well. What goes into one hole should come out of another. Wear goggles to avoid getting any spray in your eyes.

2004 CRF 100 shift lever seal leak

Yes. Once you remove the engine cover and expose the shaft and seal, carefully pry the old seal out with a small flat blade screwdriver. Apply some grease to the inside diameter of the new seal, slide it over the shift shaft (clean it first) - and press it in place.
