Your valves are adjusted backwards. Most Honda's will use: IN = 0.10 mm ( 0.004 in ) and EX 0.12 mm ( 0.005 in ) A simple adjustment should take care of the problem.

honda's run on any fule but stick to 98 if you can as for oil yes synthetic oil is ok a good service wont do any harm so if you can do it yourself all the better

Your best bet is to custom make or adapt other parts to your bike. the best way if you are not used to doing this is to pic up a cheap parts bike that is more like where you want you bike to be when you are complete and start swapping and adapting parts till you start getting the results you want!

First off, check and adjust the valve tappet clearances. Under normal use, the valve tappet clearance tends to decrease. With this comes lost compression and a poor idle.

Next, check the air filter (clean as needed or replace), and drain any water or other sediment from the carburetor float bowl.

With the forks compressed all the way down and with the fork springs removed, you want to fill them 6 inches from the top.

You have a loose wire someplace in the system, or your not making a good enough ground. As you ride the system vibrates and your losing the connection.

The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control.
