have you checked the fuses ?, connections ?

Happens at high or low rpm? If at low, may be the vacuum pump of the fuel system is inexpensive and easy to install

Disassembles the front radiator and in this back you'll find the pipes of spark plugs right on top of the cylinder head.

Hi Steve, Have you looked into Amsoil? www.amsoil.com They make synthetic oil that is better than petrolium base and has a longer life between changes. Hope this helps

FL means Fuel Injection. Sensors on the injection system have detected a problem. Ride to the dealer and have them hook up a code reader. It could be anything from a dirty air filter to a fuel mapping crash. Filters etc., you buy and install yourself. Major problems require dealer servicing.

most if not all bikes take a 12volt is fairly standard but check the number on your own battery and match it up to that for size and such ytz10s is the size but double check to make sure

Look on or near your starter solenoid. The main fuse for the motorcycle is typically located on the starter solenoid. Replace the main fuse . There should be a spare under the under the cover. Sometimes the Honda flat fuses look good but have actually cracked with age and are no longer flowing electricity. When the main fuse blows you lose all power to the motorcycle . Be sure to get spare fuses at the local Honda dealer , it is a dealer only part.

Unfortunately there is no "home cure" and it will only get worse.
To support the bike, use two straps, ( the type used for strapping down loads on the back of pickup and flat bed vans). strap around the frame at the front under the tank and use plenty of soft cloth wadding, old sheets etc, to stop any paintwork damage. Tie the straps to a roof timber with at least a 45degree angle, like the letter Y with the top parts of the Y tied to the roof member and the base of the Y is your bike. It is a good idea to have the rear wheel in a paddock stand.

Ckeck the ignition switch do to the opperation of them without starting the engine. Hope this helps.

Can you unlock the seat so you can access the seat underside? Remove the hinge pin then seat should release.

Is it your Fireblade or your car?
Either way check your battery connections, your starter connection and ignition contact.

sounds like a loose wire somewhere, or faulty fuse holder. Check all the wires from the battery to as far as you can trace them.
