Why does it constantly run hot?
Hello, are you a motorcycle accessories there a problem? Motorcycle accessories, if you want to change the website you can reference www.motorpartstore.com.Good luck and have a nice day.
Leaking battery
Yuasa batteries are expensive but with good reason. They are extremely high quality and follow the old adage 'you get what you pay for'.
Cheap batteries appear initial good 'value' but the extra investment will pay dividends long-term, if properly maintained, your Yuasa will last many years.
If you suspect the liquid is acid, neutralize it with some baking soda just to be sure. You don't want that dripping onto anything metal or pain, causing damage.
Once you have it neutralized, wash it out with water.
It sounds like you ride infrequently and bike may have periods of serveral weeks on occasion without being ridden.
My recommendation would be to install a quality replacement (like the OEM Yuasa) then purchase a battery maintainer that you can plug in while bike is not being used. Good maintainers are Optimate and Battery Tender. (I have both myself - I really like the Optimate 4.) Both of these come with a waterproof 'pigtail' harness that you can permanently connect to the battery - then when you put the bike away, you can simply connect up to it without having to remove anything.
Hope this is helpful.
Good Luck!!
I have a 2007 695 withh Arrow high-mount carbon
Did you install open air filter (K&N,BMC etc) too? Must check the exhaust fume with a gas analyzer if they are poor or rich in oxygen.Need to recalibrate maybe the fuel supply system or add a Power Commander.
I just bought a Ducati 695, but it has no keys.
Contact your local Ducati Dealer along with proof of ownership and your VIN, and they can cut a key for you. Expect to pay as much as $100.00 (or more in some cases) for a genuine factory replacement.
Your local Ducati Dealer service department knows what to do to have you riding as soon as possible, provided of course the bike was never reported stolen.
Cheers, Jay
Motorcycle battery seems dead, help locating/replacing/charging
Yes it is the battery. First try charging it with trickle charger. NOT car battery charger. It should work fine once it is charged enough to start the bike. Than the bikes should keep it charged. Or you can jump it with car battery. This is safe. THe motorcyle battery is also 12 volts. Just smaller.
After the bike runs for 5-10 minutes and shut if off. Wait 5-10 minutes after it is off and try again. If it does not start again, than your battery is either dead or your stator/rectifier (your charge system) could be faulty. Lot cheaper to get battery for $30 than to pay $75 hourly shop fees for testing and than repairing.
Fuel Pump?
I believe that the fuel pump relay is behind the battery. It should be located
right near the oil cooler and it should have a watertight connection. I think you might just have corrosion across the terminals which would cause it to start in the middle of the day when it is warm but not when it might be a little damper. What is your climate like? Let me know if you can't find and if you have further questions

695 ride hight
I'd start 15mm higher and work up 5 mm at a time from there.
You'll know when you get to the point you don't like.
Are you going to do anything with the front?
If you do you'll want to make adjustments one end at a time.
I never lengthened my stand. The bike leans at a pretty steep angle, but it's a non issue to me.
I want to drain the
I dont think there is a drain plug on the tank. Usually you can drain the tank by disconnecting the fuel line at the carburator and then turn on the fuel valve.
