How repair my BMW R1200GS 2007 abs?
It seems the only solution is to exchange the ABS Modulator. I´ve not heard of any repair company that refurbish these parts. It´s an expensive reposition part, and I´ve just got the problem on my 2007. It seems the 2008 GS has a Recall for this problem, but not on the 2007.

How to tune the spoke of the wheel
Hi there and welcome to fixya,
This is a job for a wheel alignment specialist. I wouldn't recommend you doing it since it takes practice aligning the spokes properly. A bicycle shop has this aligning tool (usually a stand), they'll place the bike's wheel in between and spin it to find where the dents are. They'll manually twist and adjust the spokes to pull or push the rim in or out to make corrections for the dent. This can take time but for an experienced person, it should take less than 20 minutes depending on the severity of the dents.
You'll need to bring the wheels to a bike shop or a bicycle shop for spoke alignment. They'll do it faster there, saves you time.
Hope this helps,

Bike is at 63000km and has now gone in for 3rd
If all your clutch problems have been caused by oil leaks, make sure the mechanic working on the bike this time installs all new seals in the transmission and the crankshaft seal on the rear of the engine. Since the input shaft is hollow, you must replace both the seals (on each end) as well as the clutch pushrod felt. Check the clutch slave cylinder too as these have been known to leak.
BMW updated the input shaft seals a while ago, so once you get the new seals CORRECTLY installed your problem should go away.
BTW, was the clutch done at 15,000 by an authorized dealer?? If so, there should be some warranty as BMW gives a two year warranty on repairs done by authorized dealers. If the clutch disc is worn out due to abuse, then that is a different story. Might be wise to investigate if you are entitled to some warranty coverage due to the leaking seals.
How do I replace the clutch of my 2007 1200 GS
Is your clutch slipping?? Is there an oil leak between the engine/trans?
Replacing the clutch on a R1200GS is a bit involved unless you are very mechanically skilled. You basically split the bike in half to remove the transmission and gain access to the clutch. You need a means of supporting the front half of the bike under the engine while you remove the back half of the bike. Disconnect electrical harness from the rear, disconnect brake lines to the rear of the bike. remove throttle bodies etc. takes 2-3 hours for a skilled mechanic to get the clutch out, then 4-6 hours to put all back together again CORRECTLY!
If the clutch is NOT slipping, I would suggest removal of the starter motor on the lower LHS of the engine/ trans. and measurement of the clutch disc before you start the work of disassembly
Handle bars loose
It is posssible if the yolk was not kept properly tightend but i would be surprised if it was not just the bearings that need to be replaced.

T & Y buttons not working on advent laptop,
You could try checking the connections on the ribbon cable, but I would suggest disabling the laptop keyboard, plugging in a regular one either into the usb but preferably the ps2 port, and if all the keys work it will probably mean you need a new keyboard.
Hope this helps, and please leave fair commment if I have helped you
thanks for that

If you hold the ABS switch on as you turn on the ignition then the ABS should switch off. To turn back on just turn off the ignition and restart. The ABS should come back on by default.
Cuts out
Sounds like a faulty fuel pump relay.
The fuel pumps for these bikes are really good, but a fuel pressure test would be a good idea. Laymans test is to remove the fuel supply pipe and block the end with your thumb. When the ignition is turned on, you should not be able to hold back the fuel.
