WHY IS THERE THE WRITH " LAMPF! " ON THE DISPLAY

There is a light out on the front of your bike, could be a parking light, turn signal or headlight bulb. Turn on ignition and check the lamps on the bike, then start the engine and check the headlights.

Do you have the owners manual for the R1200GS? The warning indicators are described in the manual.

Need to replace clutch

Is your clutch slipping?? Is there an oil leak between the engine/trans?

Replacing the clutch on a R1200GS is a bit involved unless you are very mechanically skilled. You basically split the bike in half to remove the transmission and gain access to the clutch.

If the clutch is NOT slipping, I would suggest removal of the starter motor on the lower LHS of the engine/ trans. and measurement of the clutch disc before you start the work of disassembly.

Changing the final drive oil on a 2006 r 1200 gs

I use a turkey baster and about six inches of fuel line. Put the fuel line into the final drive, then squeeze the bulb of the turkey baster and then put then protruding end of the hose against the end of the baster and **** the oil out of there. The final drive only holds a pint or so. My old K bike had an allen head drain plug, I guess the newer final drives have been "upgraded".

How do i removemainseat

There is a seat lock on the LHS side of the bike just below where the front and rear seats meet. Turn the key clockwise and remove the rear seat. Now turn the key anti clockwise and remove the front seat. If it doesn't release, just put a bit of pressure on the rear of the seat (or bang it with your fist) while turning the key.
