Lexmoto zsx-r 125cc ignition not starting
If your Lexmoto ZSX-R 125cc is not starting and you're experiencing issues with the engine light and gear display, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Check the fuses: Inspect the fuse box of your motorcycle and verify if any fuses related to the ignition system or engine control are blown. Replace any blown fuses with new ones of the correct rating.
- Check the battery connections: Even if the lights are working, there could be a loose or corroded connection at the battery terminals. Ensure the battery terminals are clean, tight, and free from corrosion. Consider using a multimeter to measure the battery voltage and ensure it is within the recommended range.
- Examine the wiring: Inspect the wiring harness for any loose or damaged connections, particularly around the ignition system and engine control. Look for frayed wires, loose plugs, or disconnected connectors. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as necessary.
- Test the ignition switch: The clicking sound you hear may indicate that power is reaching the starter solenoid, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee that the ignition switch itself is functioning correctly. Try cleaning the ignition switch contacts or consider replacing the switch if necessary.
- Check the side stand switch and clutch switch: Some motorcycles have safety switches on the side stand or clutch lever that prevent the engine from starting if engaged. Ensure the side stand is up, and if there is a clutch switch, make sure it is properly engaged when attempting to start the bike.
- Inspect the spark plug: Although you mentioned that the spark plug was cleaned, it's worth double-checking its condition. Remove the spark plug and examine it for fouling or wear. If necessary, replace the spark plug with a new one of the correct specification.
- Consider the possibility of a sensor or ECU issue: If the engine light is on and the gear display is not functioning correctly, there may be a problem with a sensor or the engine control unit (ECU). It might be necessary to have the motorcycle diagnosed using specialized diagnostic tools or by a professional mechanic familiar with Lexmoto motorcycles.
If you've exhausted these troubleshooting steps and are still unable to resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult a qualified motorcycle mechanic or contact Lexmoto's customer support for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge and resources to help diagnose and repair the problem.

Briggs and Stratton Elite Generator. It runs but no A.C. current output.
If you have already replaced the voltage regulator and checked the grounding wire, the next step would be to check the circuit breaker.
Here's how you can check the circuit breaker:
- Turn off the generator and unplug all appliances connected to it.
- Open the generator's control panel to access the circuit breaker.
- Check the circuit breaker for any signs of damage, such as burnt or melted parts, or loose connections.
- If there is no visible damage, use a multimeter to test the circuit breaker. Set the multimeter to measure resistance (ohms) and touch the probes to the terminals of the circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker is working properly, the multimeter should show zero resistance.
- If the circuit breaker is faulty, it will need to be replaced. You can contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance with replacing the circuit breaker.
It is also possible that the generator's stator or rotor has been damaged, which could be causing the lack of AC output. In this case, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
Please note that working with electricity can be dangerous and should only be attempted by those with the appropriate training and experience. If you are not comfortable performing these checks yourself, it is recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified technician.

Why is my jetta's 1995 clx 1.8L choke causing my car to cut out?
Recheck all your cable connections to the carb are correct and the cable routes are not kinked. This can sometimes cause tight spots on the cable making the choke cable stick and not work correctly. As long as you didn't change anything on the original carb when you took it off your lean/rich mixture should be correct.
Is this happening as you're pushing the choke Off or does it happen when you pull it back out to the On position when the engine is already warm? If it's happening when you trying to turn the choke Off it is often a sign the fuel jets on the carb are clogged or dirty, starving the engine of fuel. Get all the jets cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing and see if that helps The choke is simply a flap, that when you pull the choke on, starves the carb of air creating a deliberate 'rich' fuel mixture. This sounds like turning the choke off starves the carb of that extra fuel and stalls the engine.
