Can't remember how the throttle housing went back

You should be able to go to www.bikebandit.com and look up your bike. It will give you an exploded diagram of the throttle like you need.

What is the factory setting for the sync screws on

wanna say very nice bike.! as a rule, the settings start from full in, back out 1 1/2 turns. but that gets you in the ball park. what u really need is to have the vacuum mercury gauges hooked to each carburator to adjust them perfectly, as u do not want one cylinder to lag more then the rest. dont laugh but JC Whitney sells these reasonable and work great!!!! hope that helped you out !!

Jump start bike, at full throttle volt meter

The lower the voltage the higher the amperage. At twlve volts the charging sytem should be pooring the coals to the battery. Bttery sounds more like the culprit. If battery charges up corectly, the voltage will slowly rise to 14,.2 after startup. Have battery charged and load testest out of vehicle (bike) As battery goes bad the charging system works harder and speeds up battery quietus( death)

My 81 gl 1100 wont hold a charge why pleeeez help

Sounds like you battery is shot. Could your battery have been exposed to below freezing weather while not fully charged?? If so you likely froze it this winter and have buckled the plates, If that's a possibility replace it.

Gas leak on 1981 goldwing 1100

I would suggest that you pull the carbs and clean/rebuild them. I am also suprised that you havent at least fouled one or one side of the plugs (normally the kickstand side). It is a carb problem, also check your air cleaner while you are there, linkages, choke, and the like. You will probably find things plugged up in the carbs. I have this problem with my chopped scoot 'wing (that I have a chevy 2bbl carb on... :), but that's a different cause and story. Hope this helps you with your scoot, Rick

Trying to replace the head light

Hi,
To get the headlight off, remove the headlight adjusting knob (located to the left of gauges). Behind that is a nut, lock washer, and flat washer. Remove those, and the headlight will pull out the front. I am assuming you have the fairing installed. If not, and the headlight bucket is visible, remove the 3 set screws around the edge of the bucket and headlight will come free from the bucket.
Hope this helps.
If you need any other help on your G/W, let me know as I have a manual on my computer.

1994 honda goldwing rough idle and dies

Sounds like it has been sitting for too long and the gas got old and the carbs are gummed up. If that is the problem, carbs will have to be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned.

Remove carburetor on a1983 honda goldwing interstate

Removing the carbs on these model Goldwings is a JOB!! Best to have it done by a professional. But i will tell you that the intake runners have to be removed,as well as both side fairings, and the false tank, before even thinking about getting them out.

I read a post of

Getting your Goldwing running good is probably as simple as putting on 4 new NGK brand spark plug caps (about $5) and 4 brand new spark plugs. The resisters burn out in the plug caps and make the motor sound like it needs a carburetor cleaning and a full engine rebuild. The spark plug caps simply unscrew off of the end of the wires and the new ones screw on. For good free information about your Goldwing and hard to find parts you can go to : Randaaks.com
