Check plugs first ,for gaps, and cleanliness and electrode condition, check plug connectors, ht leads coil and then cdi unit

If I am right you torque it down in two stages, 20 ft lb leave it a while then 40ft lbs then use a dial dist and turn it three quarters of a turn, but double check eh mate

Make certain that the bike is in neutral, then using a piece of 12 gauge or thicker wire, momentarily touch one end on the large terminal that is connected to the battery, and touch the other end to the smaller terminal (may be marked 's') on the solenoid. If the starter tries to operate, your solenoid is OK.

your problem is that your carb float is set wrong

if its clicking then its the solinoide needs replacing try rotating the engine on the driveshaft by the coupler and see if engine moves , also the starter bendix sieze and just spin and wont engauge the starter or the starter could need new brushes etc ! check earth and starter wires etc !

check for fuel to be getting through the filter..

This is a highly ill - eagle act to do. In the old days we would put an electric drill on the drive cable, but now they make them tamper proof so they only go one way. The bezels are crimped on so you can't get inside them. I expect modern one may be electronic. How will your insurance company know what mileage you have done? Make sure the fuel is getting to the valve and passing through it. Possible blockage in fuel line or in the tank.

First make sure that the new battery has been fully charged and is not defective. Next make sure that the proper voltage is reaching the started. You may have a bad post connection or loose connection at the starter. Try jumping you battery with another known good battery.
