Ive bought a z 750 ltd usa import. thers a wiring block coming out of headlamp with 9 pins. ive got nothing for it to go into. whats missing ?

IT IS NOT A CAR, MOVED TO KAWASAKI.so you said import as in motorcycle is made in Japan sure it was or did you mean imported the USA version of a motor cycle to say Canada? you do know lighting laws not the same world wide right?even wire colors too, cars and motorcycles have custom harnesses for each country on earth exported japan to where ever. so lamp is wrong? or the harness is wrong.? gee even both wrong is possible. buy the shop service manual and buy parts for your country to match.

Motorcycle back fires

Start by pulling and checking your plugs. If everything looks good there...check and/or change your plug wires. The last possible is the fuel injection system. That is about all there is that will cause back firing. Semmper Fi, Z

(1) engine was overfilled with

Draining some oil is the thing to do. It will probably take a few days for the dripping to stop. The cylinder walls are splash lubricated. Too much oil lessens the splash. Chances are that little or no damage was done. Install a fresh set of spark plugs. Before installing, compare the spark between 1 & 2 cylinder. If the spark is noticeably weaker on cyl 1, consider getting a new coil. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Go to the page at the link below and you will find a diagram of a KX750 rear wheel and all parts there in. As to the actual size of the spacer once you ID it, that is not listed in any manual, just the part number. If you are missing something you can do a used part search on google to possibly find what you need or contact a local cycle salvage.

Here is the link. All the parts on the chain driven model were the same from 1980-83.

Not always starting with electric

Have the battery tested. Motorcycle batteries don't have a long life unless really taken care of.

If the battery is good check to be sure its charging. with the bike running it should be reading about 13.8 volts or a little higher.

Whats the best way to deal with the ommission

Most aftermarket exhaust have a boss for replacing the emoission, or o2 sensor, unles the system is totaly for race purpose, you could buy a dynojet o2 eliminator, remove the sensor completely and plug the eliminator into the wireing loom to replace it, this will make the ecu think it is still conected, you will get 1 with a new dynojet power comander, which you dont have to fitbut will improve running making it possible to re map the fuel injection,You could allways carefully wrap up the sensor in insulation tape and strap itmto the frameIf your exhaust link pipe does not have a boss for the o2 sensor then it is for race use, you should buy the pipe intended for road use. Or have a nut fitted profesonally
