How to change the oil on a ybr 125
find the drain bolt under the engine and remove with a large bowl to catch it , once done then remove filler cap and refill and you either have a dip stick on cap or a sight glass on the side of casing to tell you when full !
Voltage drop on starting the motorcycle, battery
What's it dropping to? How old's the battery? Did you make sure battery has a full charge? Did you have the battery load tested? Did you check the cables and associated wiring for clean connections?
Yamaha ybr 110 - Does
The facts mentioned does convey that the engine is not tuned properly and so lack in performance.
I would request that the fuel settings be checked and corrected with a proper tuning of the fuel /air mixture.
The spark plug must be removed and checked as it will indicate the performance. It should be clean and not sooted . If not replace plug, set the correct gap. Now check the timing of the spark and set it .
The spark intensity and a correct fuel mixture will give you a good cold start and good performance.
Both forks pitted and need
Well - seeing as how we have absolutely NO INFO on what bike you are working on, I would strongly suggest you visit a local motorcycle salvage yard. Almost any major city has at least one, but if not look into the nearest one - they will ship to you. I have had to buy blind when working on older bikes and have had good success.
My moto did not attend
there alot of factors involved, gearing, wind resistance, weight of rider.revlimiter..you may not get the max speed out of bike as stated bu manufacture & i may be unsafe to do so..
It is slow
Hi!
You feel the bike is underpowered? If the bike has many miles on it, the top-end might need new rings or maybe a new cylinder/piston...
Can you please tell me more about the bike, year, miles?
Thanks!
There is a small nail
Hi, have you checked if it is loosing air, try removing it and see if it goes down,if it. Leaks as you try to remove it then push it back in and leav it in the tyre, some tyre fitting centres will repaire it for you if it is not damaged inside as a result of overloading, take the wheel along to a fitting centre and ask about a repaire, or contact 1by telephone and enquire if they do repaires to motorcycle tyres before you travel, there is a stigma with repairing motorcycle tyres as a liability problem may exsist if the machine lost traction due to loss of air. Even though the manufactors say it is ok to repair, probs best. Buy a new 1, what bike is it fitted to, if it has spoked wheels it poss not tubeless, if it has alloy wheels it should be tubelessF
Battery showing full charge yet
Hi, you dont say what bike this is, i presume you have checked all the fuses, does this bike have electric start, the reason i ask is in addition to the fuses inthe fuse box or at the battery, there is a fuse located at the starter solenoide, hidden beneath a plastic cover which is acsessed by removing plastic jack plug and then the fuse cover, just a long shot not knowing the model of the bike, good luck, paul
We purchased a Yamaha Nouvo
Kumusta ka ?
Of course , this is the only way for you to have all your documentation in order .
Make sure to go to the branch with all other receipts for proof of past payments which should give the teller all loan numbers and requirement to retrieve missing documentation .
Best of luck
I have a Yamaha Breeze
I suspect an issue with the battery, as a starter typically would not fail as you describe. Remove the old battery, get a known good battery and try again. A realy can fail, sure, but not likely. I think you may have totally low state of charge in the battery, and the charger often will not overcome the issue.
I need a clutch diagram
You can go to durantcycle.com and click on the online parts fiche then go to scooters and yamaha and then the year and the model will appear for that year. Then look up clutch and it will give you a expoded view of the clutch diagram. I hope this helps.
My bike starts .... but
If it's been sitting for awhile, the clutches may be stuck together. solution, pull clutches, clean and replace. for more explicit instructions, we will need the year and model.
IS THERE A GUIDE ANYWHERE
The chain is not a huge issue, but the sprockets are. When a chain wears, the sprockets suffer the same about of wear. If you just change the chain, the new one will have seriously shortened life as it wants to wear out to the level of the old sprockets.
This is not a do it yourself job, specifically the front sprocket.
