I have a yammaha xj
If your battery is more than a year old it needs to be replaced. Otherwise, it could need some distiller water to bring it up to proper levels.
Check corrosion on the battery terminals and cables.
After that, it is your charging system.
Voltage rectifier, voltage regulator and possibly the stator coil each need to be checked. If you don't know how to check these, bring it in to the shop.
Yamaha xj600 84 mod has
Remove the spark plug and flush out the excessive OVERFLOW OF FUEL as the engine failed to start. Unless this is flushed out the overflow of fuel with the dampness will not fire the cylinder.
Also check on the spark intensity with the plug as it must be good.
If not check the HT coils and the HT wires, check the incicent voltage on the HT coils for the coil trigger which must be fluctuating 12 volts.
This must start the engine if the timing is correct.

I have never used their paint so I don't know if its any good. I asked a rep at one time what it was (enamal, urethane, laquer, etc.) and he just gave me a line of BS
But you may be able to find something on their site and go to an automotive paint supplier local to you and have it crossed over.
The turbo in my 1983
you either have a major air leak(that you would hear) or the turbo is getting a bit old.Also check the turbo oil lines.Make sure they are feeding so the turbo can spin.Hope this helps
