2009 ktm sx 250. how much coolant or fluid does it hold so I know if I have put the right a mount in the radiator in case of air or not enough coolant. Regards Stan.

Hi there I've got 2007 Ktm 560 smr. It's struggling to start when it's cold. Yesterday I started the Bike with a fully charged battery. The next morning I checked the battery was still giving 12 volts but when I tried to start it with the E-start it wouldn't start. Motor just swings over. If I run start it, it will start. Can anyone help or give advice please Thanks: Ryan..

replace the battery after having it load tested
a starter draws upwards of 400 amps and that drops the battery voltage too low to run the ignition
push starting it leaves the 12 volts in the battery for the ignition

Neutral has move up to between 2nd and 3rd gear. what is the cause, bike is KTM 65sx 2004

Clutch won't release on 2008 KTM 144 sx

Make sure cables are working . Follow it down to clutch and make sure clutch lever is actually moving. It is does then pull clutch in and pushbike backwards. Should release If not , plates are probably frozen through excessive heat. Replace them. If lever does not move when clutch handle pulled, then adjust or broken cable. hope that' it, easier and cheaper!

2013 KTM 450 sxf will not start unless I tap the relay so I replaced the relay but as not fixed it. it turns over but won't engage the relay to turn on the fuel pump HELP

Make sure the wires on the other side of the relay box are holding when you push the relay in.

My 2016 ktm 50 sx wont idle and is exceptionally worse once hot. top end new, carb thoroughly cleaned reassembled. new plug and tried another used stator air filter new. have not tried reeds yet

Have you tried an emissions test? That can tell you a lot about how the combustion is doing, and what you would need to adjust at the carburetor. Have you checked the spark plugs?

Ave got a ktm 125sx 02 bike wont start with a kick but will start with a bump easy and ave chanced the coil plug and ht cap and when running has plenty of power and got compresson any ideas

unfortunately the most cmmn cause for a bike not starting ff the kick start but starting with a bump is being too low on compression,although to you foot it may feel like enough it does need to be nearly 100% as high as it should be to kickstart.the easiest way to check the condition of the piston is to take the exhaust off and look up the port in the barrel ,it is usually the exhaust side of the piston that gets damaged as it gets hotter.good luck.Adam
