That model is Air cooled. On other water cooled motorcycles the radiator cap is often directly on one end of the radiator itself.

Depending on whether it is original, there is a switch within easy reach of your thumb whilst riding.

Headlight controls are usually on you left hand. There should be a large rocker switch above the indicator switch. Can you comment below with photos of the controls? A simple test is to try all of the switches on the handle bars. You won't hurt the bike doing it. Being a 2001 bike the controls might have been changed for some reason during it's life, (It is a 20 year old bike). The photo below is a standard switch gear so it should give you an idea of what to look for.

Do nit use a helmet lock.. someone will walk up, cut the strap at the ring and be gone with your helmet!!

If the leak is from the oil filter flange seal, remove the filter, check the seal is flat and correctly positioned, and replace it if OK. If it looks damaged, get a new filter. Tighten only 2/3 of a turn after the seal contacts the mounting surface. These filters will leak if over tightened or too loose. If the leak is from somewhere else then the above will not fix it.

The bendix inside the starter needs to be cleaned or rebuilt.

I would suspect the flat/needle valve. Remove fuel lines from carbs and see if fuel runs free. If it does look in carbs

Yes abad ign module cud b issue. Also wrong heatrange for plugs. Timing may hav slipped on flywheel or chain. Poor compression also. Put som BG intank to clean fuel system. Buy aclymerbook for complete upkeep&rebuild

I would say no. You don't want to try and modify tanks because of what they contain! If the fixing are the same, no problem, you can use a Y Connector to fix the drain holes issue. It is needs mountings attaching, then the answer is no.

If it runs on starter fluid that means it's not a spark issue. This is most likely a fuel starvation problem. You need to start at the tank and work all the way through the fuel system all the way to the cylinder. If your getting fuel at the filter go to the next part in the system and check for fuel from that point. When was the Carburettor last serviced? A dirty/worn jet or a dirty/worn float needle can cause issues. Try this. Don't use starter fluid. Spin the engine over for 2 to 3 seconds. Turn the Ignition Off. Remove a spark plug and look at it. Your checking to see if it's wet with fuel. Giving it a sniff sometimes helps. Refit that plug and repeat this for the other cylinder. If they are wet the engine is getting fuel. Check your air filter. You'll be surprised how much trouble a dirty one can cause. If these all check out OK check the fuel pump relay. If it's faulty it won't turn on the fuel pump when you try to start the bike.
