I got this free Pdf manual from an online store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the all the times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

I have a Suzuki katana ay50 03 plate Every 20 mins or so the headlight, dash and rear side light goes out but the bike still runs and rides, indicators work fine, brake light still works but after about 5-10 mins it all comes back on and I can't seem to find the problem anywhere! Any help would be great as I do a lot of night driving for work, I've tried a new standard bulb, the bike came with a HID led conversion headlight? What could the problem be? Need a fix asap Thanks in advance :)

it sounds like there is a bad wire or a bad ballast, if you are using halogen bulbs than you should remove the conversion kit and go back to the regular oem harness.

Do you want the engine serial number, or the VIN number for the vehicle? The VIN is 17 digits, numbers and letters, on the right front frame downtube. It's the one required by law. The engine serial number on the casting somewhere near the rear wheel, if I remember correctly.

Try downloading the owners manual from https://www.manualslib.com/. They also have the service manual, but hopefully the owners manual will be sufficient. Another option is to find a forum that caters to your bike and communicate with others that own that same model.

Gas probly gittn old dont keep in tank ovr threemonths. Its gumming up carb. Buy a clymer manual for complete upkeep

I have a 2000 suzuki quad master 500. the regulator/rectifier was smoking. What causes this. I know i need a new one but is there something in the electrical system causing this

The battery is in a continuous low state of low charge is what causes this. keep a maintenance charger on the battery and have it tested with a load meter.

Try using starter fluid squirt down the carbys just to get it started and get a car battery with jumper leads to the bike battery so you have plenty of juice for the electrics, once its started you can adjust carb settings

I wa wanting to change the driveshaft on my 2005 Suzuki boulevard c50t with one off a 2005 Suzuki boulevard c90t. Would this be a simple change or not?

Depends on the overall length of the drive shaft and where the CV joints are. I would think that this would not be a good part sub.

I have a Suzuki 4wheeler 1990 160 it was running when I went in house . Then came back out . Nw it won't start up . It just turn over . It's fireing an get gas .

That's an OLD engine. Take the spark plug out, put your finger over the hole and crank the engine. If there is no pressure trying to blow your finger off from the hole, you have lost compression somewhere. This could be caused by a number of problems. 1) Spark plugs can fail and still show a spark outside the engine. The seal between the metal body of the plug and the porcelain insulator can fail and leak compression. 2) An intake or exhaust valve could be stuck open or broken. A valve spring could have broken or the spring retainer could have come loose. Something in the valve train could have failed. A rocker arm may have come or broken loose. The cam shaft or timing mechanism connected to it may have broken. 3) A hole could have developed in the piston or high in the cylinder wall or a piston ring may have broken. 4) The cylinder head or it's gasket may have developed a hole. I have an old 10 horse Tecumseh engine on a Coleman generator that was used so much that the spark plug threads in the aluminum cylinder head wore out and the spark plug popped out. I had to have a helicoil installed. It was never cross threaded, just used a LOT. Good luck.

I have a 83 Suzuki gs750e. It calls for 10-40 would it be ok to run 20-50 ?

Running a thicker grade of oil will certainly not harm any engine components. However, it may be harder to start as the oil will be thicker when cold than the 10-40 weight.
