Do I need to adjust the timing on my Isuzu KB 260

You should not have to adjust the timing. The timing dictates when the cylinder will receive its spark to ignite the fuel in the chamber. I hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using fixya!

Need to set timiing on fiat sienna

First no year then no engine size. BUT: IF? I'm afraid you do need a special set of tools for this engine - they lock the engine and time it up accurately, you cant do without I'm afraid. The tool kits come with full instructions so once you have obtained one, you will be able to put it all back no problem.

Timing on a 2014 toyota tundra

2014 should be under warranty isn't it? Have the dealer fix it at no cost to you. However, to answer your question over whether or not timing is important, it is.
  • Ignition timing being off will cause your engine to be inefficient, making less power (firing too early or firing too late) and will eventually result in things like fouling, burned valves, etc.
  • Valve timing being off can be more of a pain, in that it could result in the TDC timing going bad (this happened to my '98 contour-the pistons punched the valves and bent them) My example car used a timing belt, where the tensioner spring broke, causing the cams to jump time, leaving them open and bam. Dead engine. Your truck has a chain, making my example unlikely, BUT you do have something called variable valve timing which if that system is going bad, you could end up causing similar damage.
Bottom line really, is without the codes that they found, reading the waveforms, and running compression/sniffer tests (to check VVT system) further digging will require more info. If the truck is under warranty, take it in.

How can I check the coil pack on my 3.4 grand am?

Seems the 3.4l have 3 of them bolted next to each other. Start the car and pull each spark plug wire off one at a time and see if good spark is present. all should have about the same. That is the easy way. You can use an meter and check them.

How do I reset the timing marks on a 07 Chrysler

The problem now is seeing as to you have taken off the belt any attempt to turn the cam shaft or crank shaft will result in bent valves. What you have to do is to loosen off or remove the cam shaft to allow the valves to seat out of the way while you turn the crankshaft to get the right location for the timing marks. Then position the cam shaft with the timing mark in the right place and tighten it down. If you have already turned something then expect to have to pull the head to replace bent valves

Need circuit diagram for ARLEC 15e 6-24Volt 15Amp Electronic battery charger OR their later model BC58

I can't find a diagram. The small potentiometer on the control board likely serves as an adjustable component to fine-tune specific parameters. Here are some possibilities: Voltage Regulation: The potentiometer might control the output voltage. By adjusting it, you can set the desired charging voltage for different battery types (e.g., 6V or 12V). Current Limit Adjustment: It could be used to set the maximum charging current. Adjusting the potentiometer allows you to limit the charging current based on the battery's capacity and condition. Sensitivity or Threshold: Some potentiometers act as sensitivity controls. For example, it might adjust the threshold at which the charger switches between charging and maintenance modes. Setting the Potentiometer: Without the specific circuit diagram or detailed information about your charger, I recommend the following general steps: Observe the Potentiometer: Identify the potentiometer on the control board. Note its position and any markings (if present). Consult the User Manual: Check the user manual or operating instructions. It might provide guidance on adjusting the potentiometer. Trial and Error: If no specific instructions are available, start with the potentiometer set to its mid-position. Gradually adjust it while monitoring the charger's behavior (e.g., charging current, voltage). Observe how the charger responds to changes in the potentiometer setting. Fine-tune it based on your specific battery type and desired charging characteristics. Remember that precise adjustments depend on the charger's design and the battery you're charging.

What is the length of lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 hilo camper and any info on what after market part to use ? thanks

The lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 Hilo camper are 30 feet,2 3/4 inches long and fit the standard height lift of 11 feet 8 inches high to the top of the overhead. The lift uses two cables. According to a Hi- Lo camper travel trailer forum, cable replacement is basically the same on all years and models, with the main difference being the length of the cables from model to model. You can use a cable cut chart to find what cable length you need for your camper, and you'll need to know your year, model name, and box (body) length: Lift cables typically wear out after three to five years, so it's important to replace them as needed and keep them regularly maintained.

Mine is a 410JS 1000cc Santana, Spanish made. Mechanical fuel pump does bring no fuel to the carb. Want to shift to an electric setup. What is the best pump? Do I need an overflow-line?

The bike doesn't exist as written. https://www.google.com/search?q=410JS+1000cc+santana We are better with 'year make model 1000cc'. Better to not try and do better than the bike engineers. A mechanical pump runs when the engine is turning, an electric pump will run as soon as the key is turned and create pressure all the time. It would have to be an in tank electric pump or it will burn out. Electric pumps are cooled an lubricated by the fuel passing through it. If it is a carbureted engine, you are pressurizing the carb bowl. If injected, it may already have a fuel return. Check the mechanical pump for a torn diaphragm, they are easy to change. ..
