2000 Marauder. It turns over. Why doesn't it crank?

Sounds like a fuel pump pressure sensor is faulty. This will stop engine crank if the sensor tells the CPU that there is no fuel pressure to start the engine. Check over your wiring to make sure they are all connected.

Will a Mk1 Fuel tank fit on a Mk2 Suzuki Bandit 600 (2000)?

I would say no. You don't want to try and modify tanks because of what they contain! If the fixing are the same, no problem, you can use a Y Connector to fix the drain holes issue. It is needs mountings attaching, then the answer is no.

How do I disconnect the throttle cable from the carburetor in my 1986 Suzuki 250 two-stroke

'Suzuki 250 two stroke', is a make, engine capacity, engine type, as opposed to being a model like TS250, so it all a bit of a guess. Normally you unscrew the ring at the top of the carb and lift out the cable, spring, slide and needle. The termination of the cable is a small soldered ball on it. Fixya won't let me name it, it starts with N has a couple of Ps in the middle and ends 'le'. More modern carbs have a removable side cover. Have a 00 suzuki gsx 600f katana. Can the bike still start even though the starter solenoid is bad?

Yes, the starter solenoid purely uses a small amount of amps, to operate a solenoid switch to draw a lot more amps that the starter needs to turn the engine over. Without a solenoid, arcing in the start button, would burn the contacts out.
