What are the cylinder head torque settings and tappet clearances for my Suzuki S40 Boulevard 2013 model?

go to a suzuki motor cycle shop and get a workshop manual and then you will have all the settings , adjustments and torque values to do not only the service but all repairs

How do I remove the belt cover

The belt cover is held in place by the lower left shock absorber mounting bolt and another bolt or two that screw directly into the swing arm. simply remove them and reinstall when task is done.

Still problems

The symptoms would seem to indicate a blocked air filter. Just because the fuel filter is showing fuel, doesn't mean it is getting to the jets. After a complete fuel system clean it could be something as simple as some dirt in the jets of the carb. When you clean something as thoroughly as that you can still miss something.

Backfires when changing gears, or

Check the valve lash-sounds like you have one or more valves that may have gotten tight. Run a compression test as well. Good luck!

I have a 2007 Suzuki

I just use what the tire says max. pressure is unless you're a really big guy,250-300 lbs. then I would use 3 or 4 psi less.Maximum pressure I have found gives the best even wear on the tires.

your spark plug is hidden under crome cover on left hand side cyl head.

Starter switch is sticking on my 2005 suzuki boulevard c50. Do I have to replace it or is there a trick I can try.

Test the bulb with two wires to the battery.

Check the grounds.

Check the switch.

Then clutching at straws, the continuity of all the wires involved. They often break inside the insulation where the wire flexes from headlight unit/forks to the frame.

Can you adjust the clutch lever to engage sooner on 04 Suzuki intruder 1500

Step 1 Pull back the rubber cover of the clutch lever to reveal the lock nut and adjusting screw. Loosen the lock nut with a wrench. Tighten the adjuster screw until it won't turn any more.
Step 2 Remove the left frame cover of the body of the bike and set it aside in a safe place. Remove the bolts holding the secondary gear case cover and the clutch release cover with a socket wrench. Remove the secondary gear case and clutch release cover and set them aside.
Step 3 Find the lock nut and screw located at the lower end of the clutch assembly cable. Loosen the lock nut. Loosen the screw by three rotations. Slowly finger tighten the adjusting screw until you start to feel resistance. Loosen the screw a quarter-rotation. Tighten the lock nut to hold it in place.
Step 4 Locate the lower cable adjuster above the clutch release cover. Loosen the two lock nuts of the adjuster with the socket wrench. Turn the cable adjuster screw and check the clutch lever as you turn. Tighten the adjuster screw until the clutch lever will wiggle loosely or "play" about 1/8-inch. Tighten the lock nuts.
Tighten the lock nut of the clutch lever. Replace the clutch release, secondary gear case and left frame cover. Pull the rubber cover back over the clutch lever.
