Well, this is definitely overheating. I would check the gauge to make sure it is functioning properly but that is only half the battle. A thermostat or something in your cooling system is not working properly and needs to be found, fixed and replaced

A mechanical pump runs when the engine is turning, an electric pump will run as soon as the key is turned and create pressure all the time. It would have to be an in tank electric pump or it will burn out. Electric pumps are cooled an lubricated by the fuel passing through it. If it is a carbureted engine, you are pressurizing the carb bowl. If injected, it may already have a fuel return. Check the mechanical pump for a torn diaphragm, they are easy to change. ..

This is a combo unit. Confirm the disc is playable. The problem may not be in the machine. Check that the power plug is firmly inserted. I have provided links to manuals for the machine.
