1700. How can I adjust the tick over?
This will all depend on whether your bike is fitted with carburettors or a direct fuel injection system. Is this idle speed change a new problem? Sudden idle changes could be a sign of another issue. When was it last serviced? A dirty air or fuel filter can cause idle issues.
Engines that use a carburettor, (Carb), usually have an idle adjustment screw on the carb itself. I would recommend getting an expert to do this as adjusting carbs can be a tricky job. Direct injection systems are usually not adjustable without using specialist equipment.

1972 Yamaha LT2 100 service manual
No, its supposed to have a "plug" in the head,, If memory serves, its a 17 or 19 mm hex plug with threads the same as your correct spark plug, Having a spark plug in there does not hurt anything as long as the "reach" is correct!

2002 TTR 225. How can I get it to run?
There are three things to make an internal combustion engine run, 1- a properly timed spark
2 - Adequate compression
3 - Proper fuel/air mixture
.... this is provided all internal parts are in proper working order..
put the correct main jet and pilot jet back in to start, and then take the carb to a professional mechanic and have him clean and set it.

2012 Vega Force. Why is it hard to start in the morning?
Battery electrolyte is at it's lowest performance when temperatures are low, and things like rusty earth strap connections or corroded terminals all add to poor starting performance. My advice is to put a freshly charged battery in the bike and check all electrical connections for cleanliness and tightness. Spray contact cleaner on those connections after checking them.

1979 MX100. What is the float height setting on a Mikuni 3M100 carburetor?
As has been explained previously, the most common float level check is done with the carby off the bike and held in the horizontal plane, using a piece of tubing on the fuel inlet and gently blowing in the tube while at the same time raising and lowering the float to find the point at which you cannot blow into the tube. The float should be sitting in a horizontal position at that point. If it isn't you need to adjust the tab that locates the needle valve that shuts off the fuel. This is a rule of thumb adjustment only.
