ITS THE CARB!!! -- take it to a qualified professional and have them clean and set the carburetor!! If you put the power valve in wrong, they can fix it too!!

indicates that the clutch cable or slave cylinder need adjustment as the clutch is not fully disengaging

possible un- even fork fluid in each fork leg. I had those same symptoms on a RM-125, it took myself a while to figure out what it was.

kill switch short - unplug it! that is all that is left on the system, if it does not resolve the issue there is a bad wire in the harness

You don't give a location Ravi? Have you checked all the wiring harness for breaks, poor connectors etc. KTM is a quality brand but expensive. You may want to be sitting down when you find the price. Why do you suspect the cdi unit? The workshop manual usually tells you how to test with a meter. If you don't have the knowledge to test it, get the info, and take the bike to an expert. Don't just trade parts for guessing. Get the info, check the wiring for rub marks, damage etc and go online to find your nearest KTM agent.

not sure bout that bike specificaly, probly there is a spring on the gearshift shaft , or something to return the lever and shift drum back whenever actuated. no matter what it is, you gotta split the cases to fix it .

your pilot circut is clogged. Take out your pilot jet (this is the jet closest to the cylinder) Be sure to spray carburator cleaner thru this jet until the stream is heavy and solid. Next insert the tube from your can of carb cleaner into the hole the jet was in and spray until it comes out in two locations in the carburator. One in the throat of the carb and one directly under the front edge of the slide. Go to the back of the carburator and you'll see a couple of holes at the bottom edge of the carb that mounts to the air box. these are vent holes. Spray cleaner into them and find the hole that vents the pilot circuit and insure it is not clogged. Once all of these are cleaned your bike should run as if new. Good Luck.

is there a spark at the ht lead cap , remove cap and test again ? plug or cap can fail !

Replace the spark plug first. Cheapest/easiest thing to try and most popular failure on a two-stroke. If you still don't have spark from the coil wire, then you have to troubleshoot the coil and stator. Also make sure that your kill switch is not shorted or grounded out either at the switch or along the wires.

I have the same problem with my 2006 Ktm 125sx! I am in the process of taking it apart did you find out what the problem was?

A fuel mix of 32 to 1 is the standard. That means 4 ounces of oil to one gallon of gas. Be sure to use two stroke engine oil in the gas. DO NOT use motor oil. 10w40 motor oil is for the gearbox.
