You have written some conflicting information. How can you know that your engine has no spark if it will not turn over? No problem, please write back and elaborate on its issue, symptoms, engine codes and things you have checked and tested so far. At this point I would start looking around. Inspect the battery and power distribution box. Check that the battery connections are clean and tight. Check that the ground cable, going to the body panel is clean and tight. Check all the fuses for damage (over heating or corrosion) and the same for the relays. Is the antitheft system working (does it recognize your ignition key?)? When you turn the ignition hey to the RUN position. Does the gauge cluster respond like it always does? Do you see the lights come on and go out and can you read the odometer mileage? Remove the side cover so you can have access to the stator. Then you will be looking for a notch on the inner case. Once you locate the notch you will line up the stator ( which also has a little line or notch on it ) with that notch.

Drunknm, If you need to improvise, try using a cable from a bicycle brake or shifter. New ones are available at Wal-Mart and you can cut them to length as they come with cable ends. Herb

Is it glass or lexon/plastic? Plastic can be polished with toothpaste or lens compound. If it's glass does it appear inside? If so you may need to pull the bulb (be ever so careful not to touch the bulb, oil from your fingers will burn it out) And clean it with alcohol. Good luck to you.

Check the kickstand interlock switch. As deemed mandatory by the DOT.. all street legal motorcycles come with a switch in the kickstand pivot area that detects whether or not it is in the upright (or down) position. This is supposed to prevent riders from taking off with the kickstand down, which can ruin your day when the first left hander comes up- This switch will essentially shutdown the electrics to the engine once you attempt to engage first gear (in the down position)...These switches are fairly reliable but can fail. To test it, take a small jumper wire and connect the two wires (going to the switch) together.

Try looking for leaks in the rubber that joins the carb to the cylinder, easiest way to do this is spray a bit of easy start around the rubber area when cranking the engine over. try squirting a bit of easystart into the airbox air intake first to see if it will start with that first, if it does then you need to look at your carb settings as per manual.

dear no start have the battery tested should read 12.7volts for a full charge. also check connections on batt and on starter solenoid.

no , if you do not have a cooling system with water , anti freeze / it is condensation , sounds like you have a bad head gasket this is the only way water gets in there
