Volvo XC70 - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
Xc70 (05) has a click when you try to start and a brake failure message
Hi, could do with a little more info to be sure but it sounds like low battery voltage. That would cause the starter motor to click when trying to crank and low battery voltage could trigger other faults including brake and ABS warnings. Do your dash lights dim when trying to start the vehicle? That would be another symptom of low battery voltage.
2005 volvo xc70 cooling fans not coming on
After doing some checking on most common causes I came up with this. I am including a simple and short video to show the testing procedure for a bad temp sensor which 99% of the time is the cause.
Where is the wiring harness on Volvo XC70
Wiring, schematic, electrical diagrams, fuse diag, error codes, torque settings etc are basic contents of these online books they have here on this website www.reliable-store.com I have attached. Must check it out
Water leak n/sfootwell12 reg xc70. No sun r,oof
My vectra had water in ns footwell. It was caused by blocked drain in cabin air intake under bonet. Water filled up until it overflowed in to the car through the cabin heater air intake past the pollen filter.
most cars have similar air intake so check that
Alarm system going off while
The backup battery in the alarm module corrodes and 'bleeds' over the little circuit board inside the alarm and makes it go crazy.
This module is on the passenger side under the front fender - sort of behind the headlight. I actually think it's easier to remove the headlight to get to it, but I think you can get to it by removing/bending the fender well plastic cover out of the way too.
Google the alarm module, it could be easier to replace the entire thing than to repair yours.
Gauge a temp ne fonction pas et fan tourne tout le temp xc70 2006
Turn the temperature knobs all the way hot for a little bit, then all the way cold for a little bit. That's reported to bypass any "interpretation" by the computer/climate control.
Also, go to the dealer and have them read the computer codes from the car. One of the temp sensors could be bad. The climate control depends on inside/outside temp and other data to work properly.
The car will probably have codes relating to this that do not set a "check engine" light.
Ac only gets cold in lowest setting
I think you should go for manual first after that it would be easy for you to solve your problem. I had visited this site past 2 months before for my vehicle and find it quite helpful may be you will also get something useful here

Re 2003 - S60 -I
Get a hold of a Chiltons/Haynes repair manual for your car. It'll get step-by-step with diagrams on how to remove this part of your dash. As to accessibility of this particular part, I really have limited advise other than salvage yards or Volvo Corp. You can always check with JC Whitney and similar auto parts vendors.
