2014 Volkswagen Caddy side door problem

Hi, You can call a mobile mechanic to fix the locking problems at your home. Or you can take the car into your local Volkswagen dealer since the central locking has issues as well. Thank you.

2003 beetle with ABS and brake light on. What should I do?

so all std brakes are good? pads, rotors and calipers? if not and are bad ABS goes mad, ABS is last to fix, not first OK> abs can not hid for example, a brake caliper piston rusted to ***** after 19 years..old.(and will be that old I say how can it no be so?>) all that and not one DTC posted (ALL) HERE ? amazing this... and when you replace any part here, reset the all DTC now with the scan tool, buy one, you can not fix (diy) modern cars with no tool. or rotor guide pins seized, fix the mechanical brakes first.!!! they all must be good, end to end ,sure a weak pad (a tad) the ABS can hide it. well kinda. (normal wear yes, ugly no) or take the car to a real brake shop and watch them and learn the craft and skills. or take An ASE brake course. nobody here can guess what is wrong or done wrong, that be impossible other than a simple pep talk,.

2001 VW beetle sport 1.8 L manual trans. AWV ENGINE

first off P2 codes are factory codes so googling those gets lies easy. only the shop manual VW is the right way and it even tells you step by step how to prove what is wrong, (tests) country not told , engine yes, VW yes ,body yes. stick shift yes. USA answers this web site no COUNTRY stated so must be told. yes TBW cars the TB and pedal pots all must match or it goes to limphome, like all modern cars do i fact. from the book (USA)it states clearly this. Number of Trips to Set Code: 1 Trouble Code Conditions: Engine started, battery voltage at least 11.5v, all electrical components off, ground connections between engine and chassis well connected, the ECM detected that the accelerator pedal position sensor signal was outside the parameters to function normally. Note: Both the Throttle Position (TP) Sensor and Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor are located at the accelerator pedal module and communicate the driver's intentions to the ECM completely independently of each other. Both sensors are stored in one housing. Possible Causes:
  • * Ground between engine and chassis may be broken
  • * Throttle position sensor may have failed
  • * Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor has failed
  • * Throttle position sensor wiring may have shorted
  • * Throttle position sensor has failed
  • * Faulty voltage supply
  • * ECM has failed <<<<(nah I say)
Trouble Code: P2128 (1.8L L4 VIN - Std) Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 'E' Circuit High Input now learn this on TBW, throttle by wire, you must do a learn cycle to swap parts for sure not willlyynillyyy the TB and the pedal modules are married and turned to like each other, and learm mode step is next. changing many parts, for sure all that guessing and throwing parts are hopeless. Throttle Valve Control Module J338 Throttle Drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) G186/Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 1 (for throttle drive) G187/Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 2 (for throttle drive). G188 6-pin electrical harness connector 2. those are the parts. I see no learn mode. Final procedures After the Repair work, the following work steps must be performed in the following sequence: Check the DTC memory. Refer to Diagnostic Mode 03 - Read DTC Memory. If necessary, erase the DTC memory. Refer to Diagnostic Mode 04 - Erase DTC Memory. If the DTC memory was erased, generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness Code. End of diagnosis. the tests in them manual are long for both devices TB/pedal reset All DTC errors at parts swaps and key off then pull battery NEG log for 1 or more hours. then put back and tranny will self learn and any others, told in the service manual Next time ask what to do first, on modern cars. Id have swapped the pedal parts all first. reset all DTC and pulled battery neg lug. and waited, and put back battery and drive so PCM can learn the new PEDAL values, and also the TB (paired to it) if that is too costly? the manual shows the tests on each pint here Pedal and voltages and ohms to find the exact cause of the error, if lucky do learn this, most go intermittence, and super hard to prove that. best is replace the pedal POTS in whole. if TB fails it too in whole and never buy used parts here. cardone1 may have it but great quality rebuilt.

I have a 1999 Volkswagen Bora V5 automatic. It changes smoothly all other gears but bangs gear number 3. What could be the issue.

Bangs as in makes a noise, or bangs as in going into gear abruptly - not a smooth change?Check the transmission fluid level, but you probably need a transmission rebuild, maybe a failing bearing. go to a shop that specializes in transmissions. They can connect a pro grade scan tool and diagnose all the shifts. It appears to be a known issue.https://www.google.com/search?q=1999+Volkswagen+Bora+V5+automatic+3rd+gear..

I'm driving a 05 Golf it's normally perfect but today I'm hearing a knocking/banging noise coming from the back passenger side. Any suggestions to wat it cod be please .

i needs service, we can not teach you mechanics 101. in this silly text box. but yeah, bearing bad or loose parts. could be lots of thing that only a skilled tech can find using hands, eyes, ears and tests. (inspected for damage or excessive wear) why not get it serviced. first. and not ask blind what causes noise. even loose lug nuts? or run over limbs and one got stuck there, look first?

2014 VW Caddy Maxi Van. I disconnected battery yesterday and daytime running lights are not working. Scanner comes up fault code 01800 light switch.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to category. 01800 - Light Switch (E1): Implausible Signal.

01800 - Ross-Tech Wiki

'implausible signal'. As usual all these things are controlled by the Body Control Module. Check all the connection on that new switch. If that checks out, you need an auto electrician with a PRO GRADE scan tool computer to see why the signal on the computer network is failing. A basic scan tool can't do this. https://www.google.com/search?q=Volkswagen+fault+code+01800 ..

Smoke from oil cap and breather pipe vw golf chico 1.3

I would recommend an oil change first and second I suggest that you get in the habit of checking and topping up the oil as it is critical that you keep the oil level correct. Less oil hotter oil hence smoke and possible engine failure

Can I by pass the power steering for a 2003 Volkswagen Passat.

You can't bypass the power steering pump. You would NOT have enough strength to steer. The only thing you can bypass is the A/C compressor and you do that by removing it and installing a bypass pulley. Not for steering though. If you want to test the theory find a quiet and gentle hill, turn the engine off and hand brake off and roll. Try and steer. Don't forget you also have no brake assist either, so don't pick up too much speed. ..
