When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Renault servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.
Code wait is part of the built in anti-theft system BMW has for the radio. The ignition must remain in the on position for 1 continuous hour. Usually rush hour traffic does the trick. You will need the radio code to enter into the radio after it displays "CODE". just enter the code according to the buttons listed 1-6. ie if it ask for 13556, just enter the digits in that sequence. Make sure you have the correct code. If 3 unsuccessful consecutive entries are made, you will have to wait another hour.
you need to wait 24hrs (radio swithed on)to see if you can re-enter the propper code if not a local i.c.e/radio shop should be able to bypass the code system.
hi... These becker radios can be difficult if the wrong codes are entered( i think if u enter 3 times in a row) and it goes into security lock.... if you enter code and it does not work remove radio and get serial number of and call dealer. The way you enter 4 digit code is by entering the number with the station program keys on the top of the face plate ,, then after code is entered you press the * symbol and it should start working. There is a becker web site that can also assist you with radio problems it is www.beckerautosound.com . hope this solution will solve ur problem
The radio is in Lock-Out mode. You only get two attempts to enter the code, then it enters Lock-Out mode. Put the key in ignition and turn on the radio for an hour (maybe a bit more). The radio should reset itself after about an hour and then you can re enter the code.
u need to go to the dealer and get the code for the radio either that or u knocked a wire lose and its barley in pull it out and unplug the wires and put them back in
