Well, I just bought a '94 ls 400 "AS IS"...So I think I have to deal with it for a while... My problem is that the battery seems to be taking so much electrical charge from the alternator/(regulator????). The mechanic says even whith the alternator disconnected, the battery still overcharging...Some clues that can help????

Find a better mechanic. How can a battery POSSIBLY overcharge with the alternator disconnected? plus you NEVER should disconnect battery or alternator while engine is running. A voltage surge could wipe out the ecm.

I have a '93 Lexus LS 400. Car would not start

sounds like you need a new alternator but I would replace battery cables and probably the battery as well.

My battery seems to be very low in my key for my 1998 lexus ls 400. Can I replace the battery myself or is it tricky?

Usually not. Disconnect negative battery terminal, then positive. Next remove battery hold down (type is specific to car model). Battery then lifts out and replace with correct new one. Install is reverse.

My car alarm triggered off and now my car wont start.

under the steering column on the left there is a fuse box there are three metal fuses larger than the normal fuse...there is a tiny hole it is the reset button for the theft detection...check the manual...should be around page 194 i think...you just stick a pin into the hole and should reset.you migt need the alarm code to release the lock on te engine.depends on what type of alarm it has installed...
