Sounds like it is some type of 'limp home' mode.
It could be anything. It might be as simple as a bad Fuel Pump Relay. When you turn the Key to the ON position (not Start) can you hear a little buzz for about 1 second? That would be your fuel pump running. You need to see if the engine is getting gas and spark.
Parking aid speaker attached to the parking aid module.
Remove the RH quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05 .
Disconnect the parking aid module electrical connector
Remove the bolt and the parking aid module.
To install, reverse the removal procedure
The parking aid system is disabled if a fault is detected in one of the 4 sensors, the parking aid speaker, or the parking aid module. This is indicated by the parking aid disabled warning. The parking aid module is on the international standards organization (ISO) 9141 network and can be diagnosed with a diagnostic tool.

Removal and Installation

Remove the rear door scuff plate.

Remove the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
Remove the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.
Vehicles with third row seating
Remove the third row seat. For additional information, refer to Section 501-10 .
As
a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the
positive battery connector and let it sit for at least 5mins. before
reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get your vehicle
back to it's normal operation.

CODE P1637 - GENERATOR L TERMINAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION CONDITIONS. CODE P1638 - GENERATOR F TERMINAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION CONDITIONS. POSSIBLE CAUSES FAULTY GENERATOR WHICH IS ALTERNATOR.CHECK GENERATOR POWER FEED WIRES AND CHECK GENERATOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR WIRES FOR LOOSENESS AND DAMAGE. MAKE SURE BATTERY VOLTS ARE 12.6 VOLTS. IF BATTERY WEAK DUE BAD GENERATOR VECHICLE WONT START.
need to remove the interior door panels and check all the linkages. One of them is a brittle plastic linkage that is famous for breaking, and bits get caught up in the travel path of the door handle. I had taht issue, and rebult all mine with aftermarket plastic linkages, and the metal parts I pulled from junkyard cars. No way to fix it without removing the interior door panels, but that is thankfully a pretty easy job.
are these doors electric or stander. u could pull off the door cover and check the mechanical arm inside the door to see if it fell of the lock for the key
