Question about 2000 Daewoo Leganza
How do you change the timing belt on a Daewoo Leganza 200?
If the idler pulley, broke, with the car running, (I think is the most probable), There is no way to fix the car just replacing the timing belt and the idler pulley. This is an interference engine, that means if the timing belt or the idler pulley breaks, you need to replace the whole cylinder head, that's because the valves are bent. I just fix my daewoo, I tried first to just change the idler pulley and set up the time, but it did not work. I had to replace the whole head cylinder, timing belt and pulleys.
I got the information to set up the timing belt from a Library, The program is Mitchell on demand.

The fastest and easiest way is to go to a Napa or an Oreillys store and purchase a manual usually they cost 20 dollars. it has step by step instructions and diagrams that will help you do the job right. the best part about these is that when future problems occure you can reference it any time. please rate this solution.
