SOURCE: Possible loss of voltage to coil and plugs
i had this or similar sounding issue with my robin trike, after lots of messing about it was found to be a loose alternator not generating enough charge to keep the battery topped up. I imagine the drive round the block used quite a bit of your battery (30 amps approx just to start it) thats when i got my stalling and sluggish responce, not enough power to fireup the plugs 100% run a volt meter on the alternator and the battery

Hello, I would assume this is your fuel pump inside your tank. I would first however do some basics like a general tuneup. For starters I would replace your spark plugs and wires, rotary cap and button and check your fuses. Run some injector cleaner through your system. You know quick simple cheap things before you get to the fuel pump inside the gas tank which can be kinda expensive. The warm up then dies can be caused by, "blownout or fouled," spark plugs. I hope this gives you a general direction in which to go. A sidenote is that coil packs do not normally run an igntion code and I for one do not like them becuase they are expensive.

What sensors did you replace? It sounds like a problem that could be caused by something in the evaporative emission system, like a faulty purge solenoid or evap cannister problem. Does the tank take fuel slowly when filling up? You could also have a faulty gas cap. That is the first thing I would look at. It is an integral part of the evap system. Hope this helps and best wishes.

Has the car been running one day and won't start the next and thats why you replaced those parts? This may be the distributor ignition modual later then when it is going out can act like its got demon in it. This modualator will shut power down to your fuel pump.
Now you can try something first though. Run a wire from a hot wire to the fuel pump and see if it will start and run while that wire is hooked up.
If it does then you can find a wire that only becomes hot when the key is turned on so the pump won't run all the time and only when the car is running. This is called gerry riggen in the service and not the proper way to do it. You may get an engine line on because of it too which will put the computer into trouble mode and cut your power down. But maybe not. Try it and see what takes place. If it still won't start then we need to look into testing the ignition modualator. Keep me informed and I will be glad to help you in the matter as well. Raz

There are several reasons that can cause a no start (no crank) condition, and I have a few questions. The battery is considered good? If so, what is the battery voltage and how old is the battery? Have the battery connections been removed, cleaned and tightened securely? A battery that has a shorted internal cell can cause this condition. Even if lights and other accessories work, does not mean the battery has enough amperes to engage the starter. With the key turned to the start/crank position, and moving the transmission gear shifter slightly forward and backward without actually leaving the current park position make a difference? If you jump start the car with another vehicle, does it crank over normally?
