The HVAC system may need to go thru a recalibration. Set all HVAC controls and switches to OFF or fully CCW postions, then either disconnect battery or pull fuse #36 in the rear fuse panel. Reconnect battery or reinstall fuse #36, turn ignition key to ON position (don't need to start) and wait about 2 -3 minutes. If this does not solve problem, there is a problem with the passenger side blend door or its actuator.

Just replaced battery started car 2008 t&c touring van and very hot air started to blow out the front right side vents all other vents blow cold air checked freon level ..full any suggestings?

You may have to have the body computer "flashed" by a dealer scan tool. Sometimes the body computer looses data when the battery is disconnected. Sometimes it relearns itself after a few trips.

My new ac unit isnt blowing out cold enough

What's the temp been out side? If its over 95 degrees only expect you air to blow at about 75. It's an air conditioner not a cold air maker.

My air conditioner is blowing warm air on the driver side and cold on the passenger side

see this steps and think with clearly and logically NOT feared. God bless you
checkmark.gif Start with the compressor. Does it engage when you turn on the A/C?
If so, the compressor is working and the A/C system probably contains enough refrigerant to make cold air, so the problem is inside the HVAC unit. Replace the motor that controls the blend air door (this is a difficult job and best left to a professional since it involves tearing apart the HVAC unit -- about an 8 to 10 hour job!).
If the compressor does not engage when you turn on the A/C, see if it will run by jumping the compressor clutch wire directly to the battery (use a fused jumper wire). If the compressor works when you jump it, and the A/C blows cold air, the system contains refrigerant and the fault is likely a bad A/C compressor clutch relay or a bad clutch cycling switch or pressure switch.
If the compressor does not engage when you jump it, the problem is a bad compressor clutch.
If the clutch engages but the compressor does not turn (the belt will start to slip and squeal), the compressor is locked up and you need a new compressor.
If the compressor clutch engages and turns the compressor, but the A/C still does not blow cold air, the system is probably low on refrigerant and needs to be recharged.

Driver side blowing hot air passenger side blowing cold air

I'm having the same problem except on mine it's the driver's side that's blowing cold. Do you have the pictures in a finer resolution? I can't make them out and when I zoom, they are too grainy. Does the replacement require removing the dashboard? What's the general cost of the acuators? Are they readily available at like NAPA or other parts stores?

2007 Chevy Silverado dual climate control, even if passenger side is not on it blows cold air on passenger side and hot on driver side when in heat mode, also noticed cold air on driver side when A/C is on...

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.
