2007 chevy impala LT, horn and cruise control not working. Cruise control is not working, the light does not come on at all. The horn works with the remote starter but not when pushing on the steering wheel column. No issues with the fuses.

If the switch is replaced,then it can be wiring issue or faulty cruise control board.But as the switch is replaced,get the voltage at the switch tested to confirm the switch is actually receiving voltage.If no voltage received at switch power supply wire then ,apply external 12 volt power to the cruise control switch wire and then see if cruise control comes ON.If yes,then you know wiring is issue.

Have the clock spring ribbon contact drum tested, i think you have a broken filament circuit. the par is located under the steering wheel.

Click on the link, part of cruise control circuit, you can see the fuses. Not only check the fuses, use a test lite to check voltage on fuse circuit, goes hot with key on.
Make sure the brake lites work?

It could be the cruise control unit (module) itself as these do burn out. A malfunctioning BCM (body control module) could also cause this. You should also check to find out if your 05 Impala has a recall as there are some defective models.

07 sebring cruise light comes on but cruise does not work i have installed a new clock spring and now the horn works but no cruise control.

Make sure the cable from the cruise control motor to throtle is not broken or unattached.

how did you fix this problem?

whats odd is my chevy impala 2002 is doing the same.. did u ever fix it
