SOURCE: My car won't start, I

need more information, does it crank, and not start? Or no crank? If it cranks and does not start, the first suspect would be a crank sensor, they do that...if it does not crank, the battery has to be charged first to get it to crank-we can go on from there...

SOURCE: the car won't start; lights,

Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle

SOURCE: car won't start. had locksmith

I would love to help you with your problem but you forgot to mention what kind of Ford we are talking about. YEAR, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, MANUAL or AUTOMATIC transmission?
I have no clue about fuse #1 without this information so I can look up the wiring diagrams.
Post a reply with this information and I can possibly give you a better solution for your problem.

SOURCE: Sometimes the car won't start- it sounds like

First thing to do is to have the battery teasted..Because a battery with low voltage will cause unusual things to happen..Take it to autozone ,,and have the battery load tested and they can also make sure the alternator is charging...You may have two problems going on..If the GEM module is getting low voltage it will cause that to happen...The GEM operates your inside components ,,like the wipers,,and dome light and stuff..

2005 Kia Rio - sometimes won't start, but has a new battery

I once had a chvy lumina car that had a similar problem. I ended up replacing the alternator that was not charging up the battery. The battery was replaced first and then the alternator. In addition, the electronic motherboard was replaced underneath the coil pack. I did all the work myself. No more electronic problems. If they did a diagnostic test on your car and it showed a bad battery then the battery should be tested by Autozone. Go to Oreilly's too for test.

I have a 2004 Dodge Neon and I just replaced the battery and for some reason sometimes when I'm running a lot of errands when I turn it off it won't turn on again. It won't even make any noises...

Something is wrong in your start circuit. From battery to ignition switch, and ending at the starter solenoid. You would have to start checking for where power is lost between the switch and the starter. If you have power to the starter solenoid on the small wire at the starter (can check with a test light while someone holds the key in start), then the starter would need testing.

Car won't start totally dead no radio, lights

Charge it, or hook up jumper cables, wait a few minutes before you actually try to start it. Make the ground to the running engine the last connection you make.

I have a 2004 Nissan Quest. First, the speakers started popping off, then radio wouldn't work anymore. We pulled the fuse under the hood and reinserted it. When it sparks radio will come back on....

if you are having radio issues where you have to mess with the fuse to make it work i would say it is the culprit for the battery draw, a lot of radios trigger the eject when power is reconnected for the memory wire, that is not a problem with the radio.
try unplugging the radio and see if that fixes the battery draw.

The whole truck won't turn on not even the lights and radio.

sounds like dead battery. did u try to jump start it. If u did all this it is possible one of the main fuses is blown. Check with a test light.

2003 sebring won't start power to lights and a/c. radio out as well as wipers.

Ours did the same thing. Check the #26 fuse to correct the wipers, blinkers and radio. We also found out the car had a gps tracking device installed by dealer that disables the engine so they can repo it if a payment is not made. This happened to us when the dealer forgot to remove the device before selling the car to another deal who sold it to us. So when the previous owner was no longer making payments, they disabled our engine by remote. The device was under the steering column panel and wired to the starter.

My plymouth breeze won't start, won't make a sound, but my lights and horn still works , help me.

any real answer yet? did the problem ever get resolved? i have the same problem with my sister's car. too cold to diagnose tonight, but will post the solution probably tomorrow. since the lights and heater works, but ignition and radio arent getting power, my first guess is there's probably a fried fusible link which controls the 2nd accessory power to the ignition switch. will post a solution soon.
