Hi,
Normally a bad sensor will give you a check engine light. If you have one on, take it to autozone and have the codes read from the computer. It is a free service. That will give you a good idea what the problem is. It could be a bad MAP sensor, Idle Air Control, EGR fault, even a bad catalytic converter. I would start by trying to get a trouble code out of the computer before throwing a bunch of expensive parts into it......Mike
Thanks Mike for the info. I'll take the car down to Autozone here soon. The check engine light has been on for quite some time already. I had a bad catalytic converter, but had that fixed. But the light is still on. If I recall correctly I was still having a Oxygen sensor reading, as well as it misfiring on one of the cylinders. The misfiring is still confusing me though. I did the tune up and everything is working according to my mechanic, but he can't tell me why I'm still the misfire error.
