Your Accent has an Evaporative Emissions System which incorporates a valve, called the purge control solenoid valve (PCSV). If/when it sticks open, it will continually/continuously apply a vacuum to the charcoal canister, creating a 'RICH' mixture condition after re-fueling. The charcoal canister absorbs fuel vapors during refueling. The PCSV operates to vaccum/**** those absorbed vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake to burn them. This is most likely the cause of what you describe. Go to and register your vehicle by VIN #..
you'll then have access to wiring diagrams, shop manuals,
service bulletins, illustrations, etc.

Ust got a new car 2007 hyundai accent manual when ever i put gas in it it wont start normal have to rev it a little. looks like it may be missing a gas flap?

check the fuel pump pressure after putting the petrol in and then it will not start as the pump could have a low pressure ,as the car runs the EVAP system is pressurising the tank making up for the shortfall in the pump pressure

if the car will not take gas at the pump and spills out when trying check the hose that goes from filler tube to the charcole canister it will be full of charcole if so replace canister

I have to jump start my 2007 accent after I drive to work and let it sit all day. Only happens when temps hit high 80's. Had battery checked out and it had no problems.

You have a short somewhere, put an amp meter on the battery and check the draw, then start pulling fuses until it stops indicating a power draw...then check that circuit.

Also check your alternator and make sure it is charging alright.

Why will my 2001 hyundai accent not idle? you have to push the gas to start it, and if you push the break it stalls? whats wrong with it?

its maybe your spark plug wires. when they get old, they cn cause this problem. in the meantime, put your car in neutral when breaking and give it a little gas at the same time.

2007 chevy SSR has a hard time starting, or wont start at all.

Arizona, California, or Ohio gas is gas. As long as you buy it from well maintained gas stations. Try running some fuel injector cleaner through with your next tank of gas.

P0441 EVAP Emission Control System Purge Flow Fault 2001 Accent

It is always best to start simple on a lot of these things. This code indicates that somewhere in the evaporative system you have a leak that has set off the code. The gas cap is the most common culprit and that is where I would start. Buy a new gas cap and put it on. It may and should solve your problem. A lot of gas caps have rubber seals that do wear out over time. If this does not solve your problem simply use a search engine and type in p0441 a wealth of information will pop up. There are other possible causes and solutions but that's where I would start (with the gas cap)
