How to fix a horn on a 2003 cavalier.... The fuse is good, so I know it's not that. Please help!

The horn is located on in the right front fender behind the wheel well. You need to remove the plastic cover around the front part of the wheel well and pull it back enough to see the horn.Remove the wire from the horn and you can use a test light to see if you are getting power to the horn. The ecm(engine control module) is right by the horn so be careful with the wires harness. If you don`t have a test light you can use a piece of wire and hook it to the battery and put power to the horn.It should beep.If not replace the horn.If it does work then you will need to trace the wire back to the relay center under the hood.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Horn dont work need location of horn relay fuse fuse for horn

I don't see a fuse for the horn but I can tell you the horn relay is located in the power distribution box located under the hood of the car in the engine compartment on the drivers side of the vehicle. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout. The horn relay is the one marked "R6". This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. No worries, no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.

I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and my horn has gone out. According to the jeep dealership, they think that it is the horn switch in the steering wheel that has gone out but they want over 200 for...

If the abs light is on and the horn does not work generally it's due to a broken "clockspring" in the column. You can replace that but definitely need a haynes or chlton manual to use as a guide. If you do the repair without instructions or don't follow them exactly, the air bag can deploy in your face (hurts a lot....dangerous). If only the horn isn't working, I'd get another opinion before allowing anyone to do the job. The clockspring and airbag are separate items and I don't see a reason to be replacing the airbag (unless the dealer found something I'm unaware of, but I doubt it).

2000 Lincoln LS HOrn does not work and I already checked the fuses asd they appear to be good. Can you provide any other trouble shoot solutions?

easy check first ,, you need help,, disconnect the 2 wires at the horn itself, Located by the front gill under the hood,, use a multimeter to check for power,, have someone try and honk the horn to see if the horn itself is receiving power, if it is,, the horn went bad, if not,, the contacts in the horn contacts are bad, which doesn't happen often but it does happen, or ( and I don't know on your model, ) you may have a horn relay thats not working, I'll check more to see if I can locate that answer

When driving, my horn on my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus blows randomly and will not stop until I hit repeatedly in the center of steering wheel. What can I do that is cheap and quick to stop this?

I have or should say had same issue on 1996 cirrus quick fix just remove the HORN RELAY located on the left side of dash relay only controls horn. To really solve the issue at hand you must replace the clock spring on the steering wheel dis-arm air bag before messing with steering wheel to avoid activation of air bag disconnect battery for 10 min then its safe to fiddle with steering wheel safely.
